Anthony Hopkins - "This Is The Stupidest Show I've Ever Been On" - 2/2 Visits In Order [Texmagery]

Комедия

He means the title in a lighthearted facetious way AND, we all know Craig takes it as a compliment. This man has the kindest heart and is so freakin humble, it's amazing, most impressive is how genuine his humbleness is. He offers himself up for entertainment, he does the Michael Caine accent, he makes the dog noise, the horse noise, he laughs like a kid (in the best sense). I love this guy! Enjoy!

God willing, I’ll be sober 8 years next March. In the beginning, I pulled up Anthony Hopkins talking at AA meetings, to supplement my regular AA meetings. I also loved to listen to Craig Ferguson talk about his sobriety, the brutal honesty, the ownership, and the accountability. It has hopefully helped me shape my journey to stay sober. Just want to thank these two gents for their honesty concerning their alcoholism. They’ve no doubt helped more men and women than they could ever imagine. God bless them both.

I like how he doesn't regard acting as real work as is not afraid to say it. So refreshing and great to hear this stuff from a legend like him. A little stab towards everyone else going on bout how much work they do for their tens of million dollar salaries.

3.1.2021 MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ACTOR Sir Anthony Hopkins. I had NO CLUE he was THIS HILARIOUS. I can see how deeply SHY he is too. Can you? A brilliant man, and brilliant Actor. My God how I'd LOVE to work WITH HIM!!! And boy would I ever LOVE to sit and just talk with him. But I don't SEE that as likely, simply because he examples the traits of someone who is VERY PRIVATE about his life and times. I sure don't blame him, I'm this way also. I just TALK A LOT... WAY TOO MUCH... like they flash the HAND SIGN to me "TMI" can't help it either. Sighs! LOVE to COMMUNICATE when the communication IS REAL and TRUE. SO GLAD I was here to see this interview today. I'm at the 6:21 marker, and have been here with tears in my eyes laughing along with the CROWD who is SO VERY FOND of him too. Me too peeople... me too,. :--)) Blessings always, Stay Safe, WISE and thus WELL out there!! Nicholas In Seattle Adieu...

When Tony was starting out , he was in a marvelous TV series of War and Peace, I was reading the book at the time so I could follow all the characters which could be a little daunting . I fell in love with Natasha and named my cat after her. However Sir Anthony, was a superb Russian Aristocrat that was slightly dumb. Cant remember the name of his character, its been 50 years but he was great

He's a gent. He still writes letters to other actors whose performances he appreciates, and has no qualms about doing 'silly' movies if they look like they'd be fun to do. And yes, as Jim, says he's one of the greatest living actors on stage or screen. His performance in Westworld is something else.

If you've never seen Remains of the Day, do so. You'll see what I consider the best acting performance by anyone ever. You'll see it especially when he goes out of the house. There's a very subtle unease you can sense in him being out of his element. You really feel the character of Stevens is a real person... a very real person.

Anthony Hopkins is a singular talent, a kind of natural thespian we get once every 30 years or so. He is even more subtle and nuanced than I can relate in words. He can..almost morph into different characters and archetypes within the same motion picture. For instance, I could see him as a museum Curator, serial killer, sympathetic character all in the same film.
