The Minnesota Timberwolves win their first playoff series since 2003-04 and defeated the Phoenix Suns, 122-116. Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 40 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, and 7 3PM, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 28 points and 10 rebounds in the victory. Devin Booker tallied a playoff career-high 49 points, along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds for the Suns in the loss. The Timberwolves win the best-of-seven series, 4-0, and will face the winner of the Nuggets-Lakers series.

    I stopped watching the NBA after Kobe died, I heard about this Edwards guy and I didn’t believe it…I then saw a highlight video of him and my first thought was… “Man this dude plays like MJ.” This kid has me interested in watching the game again. His game takes me back to old school basketball when every playoff game was a dog fight. Edwards is special, we all see it.

    Ant has that natural Charisma that galvanizes the guys around him….. it’s only a matter of time before he starts winning championships. Once Jaden McDaniels takes that leap offensively and learns to play at his own pace because he can get his shot off in anyone and really becomes that elite two way player it’s going to look like Mike and Scottie 🤷‍♂️

    This just shows when guard has tremendous impact to his team. Booker scoring 50 was way less important compared to Edward’s 40. He is a player that just gets it. Makes the right play whether it's the right time to score or make a great assist.

    This is what I think is a byproduct of his Olympic Run. Even though they didn't win it all, Edward's gained alot of experience against talented foreigners and started seeing basketball in a different light. He's already talented, gifted physically, athletically and mentally. And with the ability to harness and master the game with-in the game in all aspects this early.
