@@tommygunn2782 Lebron want to pass the torch to AD since 2021, it doesn’t mean he want AD to be the leader, he just want to take backseat and be the 2nd option, Lebron has been the 1st option all his career since he was 18, every seasons except 2020 he was the Top scorer and assist maker of his team, in 2020 AD averaged 1 more pts than him, and Lebron lead the league in assists … But now he is even older and he can’t put pressure at the rim every possession to break the defense and make an assists or hockey assists, he need D-Lo and Reaves to handle the ball and make passes so Lebron will play more and more like a role player, you will see him play off the ball more and only shoot when he has an advantage like in transition or when he has momentum, and shoot more corner 3 and play defense just like in this serie especially in the 1st or last game, that’s how i want him to play.

Love your quick Dennis breakdown. Over here in Germany, when he came into the league, he was considered a great pesty defender. But that view of him changed somehow (maybe because he really struggled, it's possible). But he got his shit together recently, led Germany national team to some success (which we don't have that often!) and has earned his spot on the Lakers. And he seems to care more again which leads directly to him being a good, nerve-wrecking and pesty defender again!

While the Lakers did win by more than DLo scored, the fact that he was making his 3s was creating a lot of space for the Lakers, and he put them ahead early and Memphis was taking some desperation shots to try to get back into the game.

The Lakers put on a master class on how to utterly destroy a team in game 6. Never saw a team so utterly dominate another team in the playoffs. It wasn't like the Grizzlies were ice cold or the Lakers were red hot or the Lakers just utterly outmatched the Grizzlies with talent. Grizzlies were cold but that was because of the stifling defense that the Lakers put on for three straight quarters until the Grizzlies called it quits on an elimination game for the entire fourth quarter basically. Honestly, they could've called it quits midway through the third. The Lakers used that stifling defense to then fuel their offense and played smart basketball.

Tbh, I feel like the closer the lakers are to a chip, the more Lebron will commit on defense. I think this is a scary realization, especially in this upcoming series. It seems that the lakers have confidence in DLO, Schroder, and reaves handling the ball for most of the game which paves the way for more defensive opportunities for Lebron. Against a warriors team with multiple offensive threats, it’d be huge if Lebron can take a guy out defensively. Not curry per se, but consistently taking out wiggins or klay would be a huge contribution if Lebron feels comfortable in taking on the task.

this Lakers team is exciting. defensively they look unbelievable, and when the offense get's rolling, it can really get rolling. honestly their biggest issue is trying to play too much hero ball and run too many iso plays causing them to just stall when the shots don't fall. I know part of that is just comes down to exhaustion, but if they keep up the movement, PnRs, and passing they can cause some real damage this post season.
