@@Natedawgggg300 he arguably had a better season. Aside from the shooting, he's significantly better at rebounding, defensively, passing, and finishing with force around the rim than 19-20 by far. He truly was the best two way player in the league this season compared to 19-20

He def deserved more votes I tell u that that , ima die hard laker fan so I def wanted him to win but wemby to me was the best defender all season shoulda won and AD shoulda been a close second , Rudy’s team has great defenders all over the voters missed big time KAT is a great defender McDaniels AntMan Mike Conley is a good defender that whole team was number for a reason I think Rudy got to much credit

He deserved DPOY especially with the the amount of games he played. AD it was a joy to watch you play this year. The toughness and consistency, wow!!

After watching this, I realized that we have taken him for granted. With so many negative media narratives, we overlooked how impactful AD really is on both ends. Our team is not terrible, we just ran into a bad matchup in this year's playoffs. I mean we were in every game against the nuggets. We didn't have Vando pretty much all year. And it doesn't help that we had an incompetent coach. I'm not trying to make any excuse, but we just need to bolster our roster with reliable center and big athletic wings that can defend as well as shooting the 3. I still like our chances next year if it all pans out this summer.

Agreed unfortunately we had an incompetent/inconsistent Front Office which lacks a vision/direction. They keep flip flopping over the superb 2 way players vs 3 star /Big 3 concept. They have to stick to one direction if we want consistent team chemistry and cohesiveness. Ham was incompetent but acquiring a star along side Bron & AD have my doubts. They should focus on acquiring a 2 way big to partner with AD get a solid PG like CP3 to mentor Reaves/DLo . And surround with 2 way wing players with size/length

Best AD season so far! As a Laker at least.. but I really believe having AD play the 4 at times would benefit him and us

AD is our future. We gave up so much to get him. Hes actually played well since that injury riddled season. This team needs to be built around him not LeBron respectfully.

I hope Lakers should consider Rajon Rondo as there next Head Coach.. Remember He play against Lebron & AD and he know how to use both of them...His IQ & basketball experience can be a great help for the lakers..

Challenging AD in the paint is not a good idea. Even though our defensive scheme was shite, he was still able to pick up the slack from his teammates.

We did have one but he was injured most of the year 🤦🏽‍♂️ (Vando) and Gabe wasn’t too shabby either (injured as well)

This is actual defensive impact but they still want to crown Gobert despite him not being able to do half of what AD does.

Two defensive plays I remember. Murray shot over Ad to win game 2. Murray shot over Reaves in game 5, when AD should have switched.

if he had a good center with him and 3 and D players we couldve won against the nuggets...he was exhausted doing everything on defense all the laker guards get beat on the perimeter all the time and he had to go toe to toe with the joker...clearly Ham doesnt know how to fully maximize AD's talents
