He gets hit in the eyes more than any other nba player I’ve ever seen. Wear some freaking goggles man. Sincerely a lifelong lakers fan Update: he’s had been poked in the eye and missed part of the game or at least a possession three times since this video! Pray for his eyes come playoff time🙏

Excellent video 👍 I had LASIK 10 years ago, the one that involved rubbing the cornea off and shooting the laser afterwards, instead of cutting the usual flap. 1 week later due to the hot humid weather, I felt a sharp stabbing pain in one of my eyes and my eyes watered excessively with my eyelids shut to the point that I could not even open it. I had to have someone drive me to my lasik doctor who applied some numbing anesthetic eye drops that provide me instant relief from the sharp pain..At that time, I remember my doctor saying there was a tear in the top of my eyes which he had to cut off with a precise scissor. Apparently what happened was my eyes didn’t heal completely from the lasik surgery and the weather caused the top layer to break and tear. After watching your explanation, all of that makes sense now that explains the symptoms I had….but not to worry, my eyes completely healed…. To tell you the truth, I really felt like I was going to lose my eye sight when that happened… but the eyes are incredible in that it can heal completely from a tear in the cornea 👍

John Stockton had a bad one early 1st quarter in Game #5 of the 1992 Western Conf Finals against Portland with the series tied at 2-2. The Portland player's finger went pretty deep into Stockton's eye and, you could hear him scream-out in pain. Stockton missed the rest of Gm. #5 but, came back and played in Gm. #6 two days later, played well and, you definitely could see the results of the abrasion in his eye!

The NBA should mandate eye protection goggles for players. It's only a matter of time till someone gets their eye poked out.

What I don't understand is why he's not wearing goggles? He always gets poked in the eye. 🙌
