If you get diareah get your self some sacromyces boulardi and i would recommend some supplementation too and take half the ammount what the package recommends to give your body a tiny amount an help him acclimate easier. Dont orientate your self on others anyone is different. If are fine with diary do it.. to prolong fastings and make it easier to go omad try bulletproof coffee or tea. Dr.Chaffee dont recomends coffee at all but its his opinion and i wont get without it.

I have never been this successful on a strict eating plan until I learned about priming. The signal flare thing - thatʻs helpful. I have little to no appetite from years of severe chronic fatigue and being unable to stand up or prepare food. Now almost 2 years carnivore and Iʻm eating even less but gaining more weight. Forcing myself to eat when not hungry is really hard and the only time I pay attention or feel hungry is when I feel carb cravings coming on - it makes sense those cravings are the bodyʻs last ditch effort to get my attention to eat. I will pay more attention to the subtler signals now.

Over a 15 year period, I failed 4 times to stay on the Atkins/Carnivore. What finally did it was changing my gut biome. After a bought of strong antibiotics I was told to get on a probiotic. Doing a little research I was seeing that the new research path is to look at gut health and the biome. The bad bacteria sends out chemical signals that make you crave carbs when they are hungry and will cause binging and feels like a cocaine addiction. After changing out my gut biome, I have not had a single craving and within 2 weeks had my blood sugars down from 250 plus to an average of 129. Look into it.

Yeah this is not a New Concept I actually wrote about this in my keto and carnivore training 9 years ago the science behind it is that it resets your triggers for glucose. I'm no expert but it sounds like your workouts are making your body believe that you are getting attacked by marauders over and over and over; and to survive such incessant attacks, it's hanging on to every ounce it can in case those marauders throw you in solitary with no food. I absolutely understand the need to be in shape/stay in shape but my goodness...give yourself permission to relax a bit. See what happens. If there's no change, then I'm wrong and go back to what you were doing. Last January, I did the BBB&E challenge, and I ate when hungry. I tried to push it at least 18 hours of fasting, but I did not limit it. Started off. I could eat 1 lb bacon several eggs and steak a ton of butter in one sitting. LOL, I took the challenge litteral. I had no clue about priming, although that is what I did. My body just told me about the 2 week mark. I only needed to eat OMAD, and basically, all I wanted was beef and butter. I tried to make sure I got a full day's calories. I did lose weight eating like that in the beginning. I am sure if I continued that way, it would have been a different story. This year, I am doing the Lion diet.

Your circadian rhythm is disrupted. Eat during the day even not being hungry and this will fix your internal clock. Also expose yourself to sunlight early in the morning, open the windows, no glass in the middle. Look at the sky (not the sun) and let the light signal comes in and correct your circadian rhythm.

If you’re just starting carnivore eat as many meals as you need with fat to feel full. I’ve gotten to the point where I know what I need to feel full but I have to eat then wait an hour or a bit less for that craving feeling to slowly subside. Just consciously get by it so you can understand how your satiety feels. Oh and do not weight yourself during the first 60 days! The scale is unimportant as you’ll be building muscle and losing fat so the scale will go up and down.

@blackola7559 Three steaks isn’t that much after years of real food deprivation. I think that you should eat what carnivore foods YOU need to eat without judgment or fear. I think that our eating culture has been abusing us foodwise for so long, that we don’t even know what to do. The food culture has also brainwashed us about body image. We don’t know what normal is, because we’ve never been told the truth!! Now, we’re slowly discovering it for ourselves. It’s scary process, but your body knows what you need. If you’re hungry, you’re hungry!!

And you do NOT need to exercise in order to lose weight.
