Antelope hardware is phenomenal. A big draw-back last I heard is their support as of late though (last I did any research about this was 2019 FYI.) Sweetwater and others dropped them due to poor customer experience and support. If they've got that sorted out, I'd get another Antelope interface without hesitation. For what it's worth, RME has been doing all of what's outlined here except for the guitar effects for years. Including loopback and multiple in/out in OBS. Their in-built plugins aren't as modern and updated, but they get the job done (again, except for guitar amp modelling.) And RME is as good if not better hardware/converters than Antelope, with a stellar (in my experience) support team.

I'm looking for a 4 in 4 out, but was wondering with this, are the plugins made by reputable company, do they run efficient and ca be used within mixing context, not just via preamp recording? I assume they have options for different mic pre emulation also? Many thanks.

Since you mentioned obs, how do the ins/outs display in Windows itself for the interface? Like does it lump them all together or can you say assign a specific output for one application like Discord so that you can then add that to obs as its own source? Just curious since my Motu generally lumps them all together in Windows, but is fully selectable in a daw for instance.

none of the "reviewers" (read, paid promoters) have shared that info so far and Antelope isn't advertising it. makes me a bit skeptical. of course these are meant to be used with the built in DSP, but if I have an amp sim or VSTi i'd still like it to perform reasonably well.
