This is a haunting elegy. You think in that moment of despair there is hope for you to find the strength to fight on but then that spark is snuffed out in front of you, there’s nothing more to be done. All you can do is accept it

This one's even more poignant for those of us that cleared Endwalker...

I love how this song (and this cover in particular) makes me feel the pain and sorrow from the battle of Carteneau I haven't played ffxiv 1.0, I've been playing barely 3 months and I still get feelings of loss, pain and confusion from this and I love it

Got this in my recommendations. I love FF XIV sooooo much! Never played a MMO for so long and I'm a player sind A Realm Reborn. I WISH I even played the very first version of this game but sadly I didn't and I regret it, because this game is amazing. Especially the story. And now I'm sitting here, crying while listening to this amazing cover! This game and its songs has WAY TO MANY FEELS! T_T Waiting for the next patch and addon is soooo hard!

Answers is a really beatiful song , and with what shadowbringers revealed about hydaelyn it gets even more meaning , i enjoyed playing ffxiv for a whole year untill my sub ran out on december 2nd 2020 - its a great storyline with awesome writing and soundtrack

looks like this song made me into some state of hype for ff XIV story,same with nier and song of antients, I listened to song,tried nier gestalt and I don't regret anything. That song,I think storyline of ff XIV should be good. Interesting how songs can make you interested in some stories.
