About this channel: Welcome to my channel. I'm Amber Smith. My husband Granger and I live on a little farm in central Texas with lots of animals and our beautiful, super funny kiddos. We have London, Lincoln, River (who is now with Jesus) and Maverick. This channel is a spin off of our family vlog The Smiths.
I started Arise, when we lost our son, to share my feelings of loss, grief, love, hope, parenting and my faith journey along the way. We comb through scripture, I share what the Lord puts on my heart, I answer questions and more. My hope through Arise is that something I say makes you want to seek Jesus. He changed my life and my heart when I was in my 30s and I've been sharing the good news ever since.

Love a good Arise Q&A session. As for the question about us looking so differently even though we are all from Adam & Eve, it's interesting what those who study DNA are discovering about just how complex that is, how our DNA contains not only what is obviously here in us, but it also contains that abilities for us to adapt to environments and situations we may encounter. It's just another one of the many blessings that God has given us. Looking forward to the next episode of you sharing your thoughts on viewers questions. Thanks!

Something just came to mind when you were talking about ISR. Someone asked you if you believe that it was always in God's plan for what happened with River then why do ISR (or something along those lines you mentioned recently). Thinking of that it's like if we know that say the oven could burn our child do we not teach them that it could burn them an how to use it properly to avoid that happening? Of course we teach them but does that mean that it still can't happen, no but we teach them like any good parent would do. God knows that certain things are going to happen but He still gives us His Word to teach us things we need to know to avoid things in this life that we should because He is a good father who loves us and wants what's best for us. I hope that makes sense.
Like Ken Ham of Answers In Genesis says, there are no races, only one race,crge human race. There are just numerous ethnicites ❤. We all basically gave the same color of skin. The difference is some of us have more melanin than others❤

How in the world do you keep so many books straight? Lol holy cow!
we even have to watch out what preachers we watch because some of them are false teachers and Andrew Wommack is one of them and he says everyone gets healed it's not what the Bible says and 2 Corinthians chapter 12 Paul asked God to remove his “thorn in the flesh,” and it appears that God said no because it was good for him to have that thorn. If Paul’s thorn was sickness and this interpretation of scripture is correct, one could say that God uses sickness to teach us something, and healing is not always God’s will, even if we have faith
