I bought the same car 7 days ago and am driving an A-spec Technology pack Integra as a loaner until the car comes in. I love the loaner car, perhaps I should've just bought such a car but like you, I got the Type-S. I didn't even test drive a type-S integra... All I see is, when the Type-S comes in, what I feel for the loaner is +120 hp and 6 spd manual transmission... shoot I will be happy. The new car will be fun and a therapy for distractions I have in my life and at the same time useful. At 40 yo, pleasure in the simplest things of life should be a thing one shoots for. Thank you for your video.

Now that I'm on the waiting list for an allocation I really appreciate you making this video. It answers a lot of my questions.

I've been on the wait list since May 14, and have no idea when I will get one, but they did tell me that there is no mark-up.

@@AutoEnthusedTV That's interesting. If they change their mind on the No-Mark-Up, then I will get my $500 back and order a Model 3. I'm already so sick of these games. I thought that the whole idea of signing up for the pre-sale was that I would be getting one of the first 200. Well, it doesn't look like it. They had to of already delivered the first 200 by this many months. I'm so stupid. I was totally expecting to be getting one in June.

I have a question for you. I own the same car, love it. Does your car rattle on the front driver door around the seat belt area and on the back right seat also around the seat belt area? There is another rattle originating from the main console but I have little hope of fixing that one.

I have some questions if you are still responding. So I was looking at either a GR Corolla circuit, WRX Limited or an Integra. Each one had issues with it for me. The GR drove well and is cheap, but I am 6'7" and a cripple (spine) so getting in and out of it REALLY sucks, and the seats suck (they are heated though, a must have for me). The WRX had great seats on the limited and a moonroof that gave me needed headroom, drove the best, but the infotainment tablet straight up doesn't work and the engine failure due to RTV? really bothers me, the more I read about it, the less I want a Subaru. So I went to look at the Integras, no one will let me drive the Type S, they act like it's a half mil car or some **** when it's cheaper then all the other Acuras on the lot I can drive all day. I have driven the regular ones and I REALLY like the seats in the regular integra (comfortable and heated!) and the moon roof (the manual one, A spec I think), both which are missing on the S. However, the regular had rev matching, I couldn't stand that at all and couldn't figure out how/if you could turn it off. Does the S have that too? Can you disable it? Drive wise, you have clearly driven an S, have you drove the normal integra too? How do they compare? For reference, I personally felt the normal Integra was seriously lacking. It was weak and feeble made a ton of noise but didn't really get up and go at all. In fact, I looked at the sales guy and was like, Driving performance? Really? and he shrugged...but the engine difference between the two cars seems huge. How is the ride in the S? Do you feel bumps hard in the bottom of the seat due to the suspension? Are there any features or interior design items that you don't like? If so, why? Any other negatives on the car for you? Nit picking is ok, I really want to get a broad viewpoint before I waste money on another car I don't really need.

I’ve seen Corolla GRs going for $30k over MSRP. RS3 has a $20k price premium (not including dealer markups of $7k-20k) and has as much or more cheap plastic bits in the interior. Cross shopped the RS3 (24+ month wait I dropped after 12 months), CT4-Blackwing, IS350/IS500, BMW M340i. Agree with the Blackwing that it felt dated inside but new and fresh compared to the Lexus models which felt like a 10 year old car.

You’re absolutely right about Lexus interiors. Such a shame as I think they have some of the most beautiful exteriors.

I've been waiting for the Type S Integra for 3 months now no allocations from my dealer. Now I'm thinking of paying the $5k mark up on the CTR. Decisions decisions.

I was on the fence between the ITS and the Golf R. Im leaning toward thr Golf R a lot more now for how many features it has over the ITS. The Integra is a better looking/sounding car but... the interior doesnt really offer much for that price range. I feel like theyre pricing it based on its reputation and brand. I really wish it had more to offer for they price.

For the price, the Golf R offers so much more features than the ITS/FL5.

I don’t like most hatchbacks because they look like mini mini-vans, but the integra looks more like a sedan imo. I like your choice over the Corolla and other hatchbacks

ITS owner here, I agree with most of your opinions.

See this car is great it's because it's a family car it's four doors you know Civic type r 4-door hatch same way roomy Corolla the same way I don't see nothing wrong with them. But I know the price is high for a lot of people but this is the time that we're in look at BMW is like 90 grand for like almost a base model price M3 wasn't at the M5 once upon a time. And the biggest problem is the deal of markups you can't just go in there and pay sticker price they're the biggest problem 100%.

Got mine for MSRP. Had two dealers in my area willing to do sticker. I think it’s much easier to find this car at sticker whereas CTR is nearly impossible
