I’ve heard Deison talk about her past relationship a few different times but I truly needed to hear this today! 🥺 I recently ended an 8 year relationship and it has been such a rollercoaster of emotions. I’m moving back to my home state with my parents soon. I’ve come to the realization that love isn’t enough to keep 2 people together and I couldn’t keep waiting around for improvement and constantly forgiving and moving on going nowhere. It’s just comforting hearing such a similar story and seeing her thrive ❤

good for you, babes!! you should be so proud of yourself! I just went through the same after ending my 4 year (dangerous) relationship & had to move back in with my mama with my tail between my legs so this episode also helped me a lot, but I wanted to tell you that YOUR COMMENT actually helped me so much, as well! thank you so much for sharing! 🩵🩵

The whole “why is she single vs. why is she with them?!” Is SO REAL. I’ve only had a couple of short relationships (I’m 25) and I’m mostly comfortable with being alone. Part of why I’m okay (now) with my last relationship ending is because I K N O W he didn’t deserve me. Especially not when he was cheating and saying the same things to the girl he’s with now 🧐 Being alone is better than being with an asshole 🤷🏼‍♀️

WWDITS really picks up around episode 5! I also didn’t really like episodes 2-3 but I kept with it and now it’s one of my fave shows. The season 4 arc is the funniest thing I’ve EVER seen on tv EVER. I Really recommend sticking with it! ❤

The part about being jealous when your partner gets hit on, I could cry dude. I always thought to myself how I would love for Drew to answer that EXACT question because I knew she’d have amazing insight. I have an objectively good looking partner and he constantly gets hit on/ stared at etc etc and I cannot help it but feel so insecure and jealous every time it happens EVEN THOUGH he doesn’t retaliate and is very reassuring. Thank you for answering that Drew and Deis 😭

The writing, character development, set design, costuming, all go crazy. Also, all of the characters are queer and I love that.

I think some people who have been hurt in relationships seek it subconsciously because it's what they know and it can be comforting even though it isn't healthy. And when someone that would be better for them comes along, they aren't as desirable because they don't know how to accept being loved in a healthy way

Idk if I agree with the jealousy thing. In my experience dating men, it has everything to do with the guy you’re with. If he was a piece of shit, and got hit on all the time, then I would always get jealous and worry he was going to cheat. If he was a good guy that got hit on, that fear or jealousy wouldn’t be much of an issue. It’s not a *you* issue. If you have a partner that creates trust and safety with you, it isn’t as worrisome

Feeling uncomfortable being labeled feminine or gay because of a hobby they enjoy does not make someone homophobic…. If anything it’s internalized misogyny, not homophobia…..Unlearning harmful stereotypes we’ve all been socialized from birth to believe is a process and seeing someone learn to shed those labels and become more comfortable in their own self is a positive thing imo

I’m shocked that Deison doesn’t love WWDITS, it’s a show about goofy ass queer vampires and yeah Colin is the least likeable character but if you see this, you should give it another shot. The first season is the least exciting, but it picks up (the case with most shows I think) and seasons 2-4 fucking hit. I would just eat it up if these two talked about it, in my humble opinion Taika Waititi is one of the funniest bitches alive and him and Jemaine Clement did the movie and show for WWDITS and goddamn there’s some banger bits in there

I don’t think a person discovers there gay. I think Daison fully knew the moment the hormones in her body started working just like the rest of us . Her “boy crazy “ faze was obviously her masking it. Saying she discovered she’s gay in college I don’t think is true. Sexuality isn’t a choice . We’re just attracted to what we’re attracted to. It isn’t taught. Of course we are taught should be most desired. But those society rules were instilled by a shity dead white men. Now someone who’s bisexual might be more of a different situation though again I think it’s pretty obvious it looking at an attractive man turns you on and looking at a woman turns you on than I think it’s pretty case closed that ur bi with out “discovering “ it when acting on it for the first time. I’m straight and no one taught me to be attracted to men I just was. You just feel the tingle … 😂

I think for every gay person, their journey to learning who they are is completely individual and not at all the same for everyone of course! For me, I didn’t realize I was gay until I was surrounded by so many openly proud and queer women and met the one person who made me realize I was gay. If I never met her, I’m sure it would’ve been another girl because I was always meant to be gay because that’s who I am. I can confidently say that neither of us believe sexuality is a choice, it’s just who you are. For me I’ve always pondered how I could’ve realized I was gay sooner! I know that’s not the case for everyone.
