On the topic of connections in the truck, do you know if the Ford Pass data plan still works as it would with a stock setup? I assume so, but have not been able to get an answer. I pay for the yearly AT&T data plan and want to make sure that still works or if i would have to rely on the sim card option. Thanks and thanks for covering so many questions.

I have a 2017 king ranch, if I install this will keep the ambient light control? My truck has the feature of multi color changing options for interior lighting. The wife likes that little feature so I definitely don’t wanna lose that! Also can you watch KZread while driving? Movies things of that nature?

Thanks for the video. Just installed the radio in my 2020 F150 XLT. So far, so good. One exception is that the radio is set for Duel AC control. I have what they call a manual AC control. Same as yours. Do you know how to change this? Thanks again.

Andrew thank you for all your videos, wow watched your video about your new radio, no words to describe how great it looks. Ordered mine from AUCAR should get it soon. To set it up you explained it perfectly. Questions # 1 I have a 2018 F150 limited and i think my stock radio comes with a sim card, not sure ,do i need a new sim card for my new 14.5 inch radio that you have. I did not see if you put in a sim card. My stock radio says 5G. PLEASE LET KNOW. Thank you.

On ur truck when u wanna hook up interior lights or a hard wire dash cam to the fuse does ur manual show u all the fuses location lmk

Thank you for the update, hey, does the air-conditioning still drop down when you are in voice to text or during a phone call? Also, does it allow you to play KZread while you are driving? I know it's not the safest question. I'm just thinking about getting this for mydaughter and don't want her to be able to do that. Lol.

Does the mic work when selected on the sterring wheel? When am connected to the android auto it kicks me out to the sync screen, instead of continuing using the android auto

Is the car play wireless for both android auto and iphone?

I noticed there's a disconnect between the original sync audio and the use of music apps audio such as Amazon music. Using music apps the volume quality isn't great! You have to mess with the setting to figure it the issues.

Backup camera was working fine for months now says “no signal”. Dealership said camera is fine it’s the radio😤 any idea as to what the problem could be?

How do I contact aucar about my screen going black? I've emailed several times but no answer?

Audio has greatly improved. Especially with the eq and sound settings.

Just connecting the unit, going in to DSP and adjusting the EQ to my liking. Then swiped left, changed the crossover settings to my liking. Swiped left and set the Delay for the rear seats to 2 which gave me a more equal sound front front to rear. Sound is subjective In terms of eq, crossover and delay settings. I had More volume and better sound over Stock just by installing this unit. I may add I have a 2014 Lariat super crew with sync 1.

You show the backup camera working fine , my question is that the factory camera Aucar says will work or is that the camera provided by them. If it the factory camera how do you enable it. I cannot find in settings anything for oem backup cameras. Thanks for you time and hopefully you can help me resolve my problem.

That is the factory camera. It is not a camera provided by the company

What about the traction control button ??? And if it is replaced in the screen does is still have the option to hold it in to turn advanced Trac off ?

Compared to the stock radio, how long is the boot time when the truck ignition key is turned? This is my #1 concern

It does not affect the sensors. I had a lot of people tell me that, but if I ever get too close to something or another car in traffic my pre collision alarm goes off

Just installed on mine. Had the sync 2 conversion. Everything works and looks great but the back up camera says no signal. Any ideas?

You have to go into settings and pick the correct connection. I believe there are 2 types. I believe the VGA setting is the correct one.

Heated steering wheel controls. Do they show up ?

I just bought a used 2018 F-150 lariat that has, what I believe, is this unit installed. I hate it because it's so slow and unresponsive. Already looking to go back to original sync 3 unit.

All the aftermarket tablet garbage is like that. I have yet to find one that can compare to the stock sync 3 system responsiveness. Even if I have a big screen, the slow and unresponsive garbage makes it feel like a downgrade.

You can have it plugged in to charge, it it has wireless CarPlay so even if it is not plugged in, you still get the CarPlay option!
