Great review of a great truck. It really is well built. But I agree I almost gave up on it when running it on some slippy tarmac. But on the beach it was an absolute blast! 😁

The only weak thing about this is the servo, but I'm glad they cheaped out on it and spent the money elsewhere because people usually upgrade stock servos. Anyway, with a very minor modification, the Hightec 'mighty mini' servo range fits this car perfectly. I haven't taken it out for a drive yet but seems absolutely fine.

MJX have pretty much got these little RC's nailed. 👍

If it's hard to control, maybe add a gyroscope to it? Like the MJX 14301. Gyro's are pretty cheap, about $10 on Ali.

@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 Yeah, gyro's are great. They improve so many things. Cornering, straight lines and driving of at full power. They can be a fix for bad tires, slippery surfaces, too much power or a rattling steering setup. They're brilliant.

@luvadealme I'm sure one of my earlier speed run videos featured a gyro. They just basically connect inline between the receiver and the servo. And modify the output of the receiver accordingly. It's really simple. Just addition of a little black box.👍

So the v2 has the upgraded rear driveshafts 🤔🤔 can’t decide on this or the rlaarlo amd-12

That's a very good question. I'm embarrassed to say I never looked into it. On the old MJX's one of the v2 upgrades was the use of adjustable tie rods on the steering. 👍

I can't find any concrete answers at the moment. But it could be the inclusion of the extra parts in the box. Springs, softer compound tyres?

I have the og version and tried to find any visual upgrades. All the parts look the same to me. But they added spares for the suspension arms.
