Well, you are correct except for the part about "mom sleeps with her son's best friend." Prior to the morning after Ava & Matt's "first time," Matt & Adrian had never met. Straight away, Matt hated Adrian. At one point, Matt aptly called Adrian a "sociopath. Adrian wasn't too keen on Matt either, as Matt was taking all of his Mommie's lovin'. So, they were far from "best friends."

the writers of this show said they didn't make any of the content. everything that happened in this show is based on true events.

No they aren't blood related - Adrien is adopted - but it was revealed that Ava is transsexual. The fact that she was sleeping with her adopted son is still gross though.
