Yeah, motherboard was later change... This one has a couple of issues, code errors! Change to the x570s strix passive cooling.

@@theopszone6775 the rog stris x570e gamming wifi 2? I had to change to this one after some memory problems, and have this one on my pc now to, inside my lancool 3. the X570F was repaired and I'm looking foward to build another PC for my living room.

One question, how are the temps with the dust filter in place? Are they still good? Nice tip about the cable extension BTW.

Yeah. The dust filters are great. Temps are low. Especially with the 140mm fans running on quiet mode using Iconnect3. I'll update you later with temps numbers soon. Pc was put aside waiting on new components. But filters are dope! Used them twice, one in my daughter's Rig. Glad the tip help.

I just wanna know if the optional dust filter kit helps reduce case harmonics. I installed 140 mm SL Infinity fans inside my Lancool 3 and at certain rpms it makes an annoying oscillating sound so I run it slower.

With that size of fans 140mm, is does move tons of air, the filter can make a small difference, key Word (Small), I believe I have the settings in l connect 3 on stdsp. The harmonics are very low, the 140mm will sound off when at high speed no matter what, only because of the amount air flow of course. But to really answer your question it wouldn't make much of a difference.

I don't mind the sound of them running fast either. I guess the problem is the lack of a coolant temperature curve option in Lconnect 3. I get an oscillating sound because the fan speeds are adjusting frequently.@@theopszone6775

Did you notice any reduction of fan howling at certain rpms that woo woo sound. I heard that it is caused by turbulence.@@theopszone6775

I can't believe they only give you one side filter, when there are two ventilated sides to the case. SMH On the other hand, not sure if I'd use that top filter, as it's filtering air that's exhausting from the case. Or at least I assume you have your radiator fans blowing out. That's how I set mine up, to blow out. Anyway, I'm trying to watch your videos in order as I can't wait to get to part 5. I saw the title to part 5 and can't wait to watch and see how that happened.

I actually get what your saying, it doesn't make any sense when you think about it. Would rather trade out the top for the side panels. I guess since it was a kit, I didn't give it a second thought. But! Temps have really good still. This is one area that's not really touched on tho... That top filter!... Part 5 was a mind torture.
