There is a difference between the dark knight suit and the knight rises suit. It’s not the same suit and hot toys delivered here for making it different from the dark knight rises suit.

He’s right. TDK & DKR suits are not 1 to 1. There’s differences between the two.

I’ll get both armoury. Each of them have their moment in the movie. The rises armoury is when Alfred try to convince Bruce keep the Cowl behind him. This armoury and suit is when he decided to turn himself in. I agree that both is for really the hardcore fans.

Even if im happy of this release because i missed the first one with Alfred (don't why they didn't made him) i don't appreciate one bit the timing, it's a huge disrespect towards us the collectors to announce this when the other armory it's not even close to release, i don't know what do they think. Being a Hot Toys collector it's like to being in a toxic relationship.

I'm one of the crazy ones who's gonna have both armories, the one announced last year and this new one. They both look awesome in their own way. I don't see myself displaying both Bruce Wayne figures though, probably just the suit version. I may sell my DX19 though, not sure yet.

I didn't pre order the TDKR with the power pose but did like the updated suit but this is a day one preorder with the updated batsuit and the fully articulated bale with the suit and eye rolling system.

Its odd the troopers (black & white) w/DS environment, Imperial Commando (BB), Obi Wan (Mandalorian armor), etc were just announced but are already out. The timing of announcements/releasing BM DX19, DKR armory, DK armory 2.0, etc seems odd too. These actions were probably planned at least yr or two ago. HT must anticipate how will collectors will respond. Most businesses make decisions in order to make a max profit. The current state of global economy makes those decisions harder. I'm sure on the business side (capital, logistics, etc) of HT there are things going on that we are not aware of. W/that being said its hard to know mindset of HT. Enjoyed your video. Keep up the hard work.

Thanks for watching and for the feedback! I def would have let the DKR Armory settle before announcing this one. Seems like they will canibalize each other a bit.

It doesn’t really make a whole lot of sense to announce a new armory that makes the previous obsolete before it’s even released. Of course I know they aren’t exactly the same and come from two very different movies but the point still stands especially being the new one has a fully articulated Bruce rather than just a statue pose Bruce. In my opinion people are gonna end up cancelling their TDKR armory preorder to get this one instead but I could be wrong.

Yeah that's true. So its just the DX19 for the DKR trilogy 1/4.? Looks like there are too many updates for the 1/6 scale but the 1/4 scale doesn't seem to get much updates. Even the 1/4 Mando hasn't been updated to the chrome version yet.

@@thejediknightswatch We're all spending too much much money on the frantic craze (your words "very jittery") that HT has us in so no, I can't buy everything. Also I'm in no way "pissed" either. I suppose I would be chafed if I just backward bought the armory and then this drops out of nowhere but may that's the lesson don't buy off eBay anymore. I have all the OG Nolan trilogy figs and equip like Bat pod, Selina Blake Scarecrow Heath robbing bank Heath doing other stuff Bane Signal All versions of TDK and even some really good TPF Ghul and Fox and this Armory which looks EXACTLY like what they just announced so why would I spend more to get same thing? the sculpt is updated on Bale's Bruce but like I said mine has Alfred and where is he now? The new one has USB power but mine has soap power. Mine has been in a custom display case showing progression of Bale through the three films for many years with his villains and still looks great so keeping it thanks. HT and SS have joined forces with a diabolical method of having all you YTer's and us at large panicking and jumping in robotic lines while frothing at the mouth to buy whatever it is they are dropping without taking even a second to consider its worth. FOMO and I win you lose, genius marketing minds. There has to be a cure or we're doomed.

Way too many reissues going on lately. Figures are going on sale at a high rate these days because they just aren't worth the price anymore. There's little point in pre ordering anymore when you see it go on sale a few months after release $100+ cheaper than RRP.

Snooze fest for me even with how cool this is. Give us something new. JazzInc gives us a '92 Catwoman and Hot Toys gives us a recycled figure and armory. I'd at least wait to see what InArt does and prevent losing NRD again.
