Has anyone ever questioned the drivers side brake light being hindered from view when facing squarely to the rear? Perhaps it was just the way it looked in the video, but couldn’t tell. By the way, was on a road trip last week in our 2003 7.3 van, but we didn’t make it in time to visit your shop during business hours!!! Really wanted to shake hands and buy a t shirt haha!

That's one of the reasons we add the marker light to our rear bumpers, the D side tail light can be blocked from certain angles. Sorry we missed ta!

I do think one point of discussion that might be missed by potential and current 4x4 van guys who might not know the history but you used to sell the coil kits. Looking back I recall you talking in depth about why you don’t anymore and there is a more recent explanation of the radius arm geometry issue that Ford engineers can’t overcome

In hindsight it was the worst decision of my career. At the time we were having big issues with our spring supplier and the coil swap was an answer to that. The coils were difficult on many fronts and in the end didn’t perform to our standards.

Yes that was the point I attempted to make… even the best of the best doesn’t covert E-Series van to coils any longer.

Did I miss what year, motor and gears? I’m guessing 2012, 5.4, and 3:73

No, he has them correct to increase the castor correctly.

Depends on a few specifics but usually ~10-12k w/o axles

Lessons learned: 1. Don't drink the coil aid. 2. Turn over a new leaf. 3. Mexico doesn't have a space program for a reason.

That was not an AJ’s 4x4 Vans job…They actually use custom brackets and reinforce those parts…I would like to see proof that this was an AJ’s conversion…If not, you may want to correct your comment!

Yes it is/was. Confirmed with the customer. Had all of their bumpers/accessories on it too.
