Been debating on swapping front ends on my 01. Bad ass truck brother love your videos man. I just bought new torsion keys for mine. I have a 6” procomp lift with about 200k on it lol I’m going to refresh everything I got some prorydes coming in the mail 1-3” I’m going to run them as low as possible so I’m not squatting lol

Since youre changing it up a bit I'd be different and go with a grille without the bowtie, or even an open grille like you had before to show off that cooler....When I had my 01 I felt it stood out from the masses because it had the round front clip, but there are more options with the cat eye setup so I get it. Ditch the fenders and go prerunner....nice offroad bumpers and lights. When I still had my 01 that was my plan. I now have an 08 ECSB duramax, and planning on installing a BDS 4.5 lift and also running 18x12s with 35s, once life stops hitting my wallet so bad. I'm looking forward to your future content of your duramax build, take care.

I love the way my 2006 cat eye Duramax looks . I’ve been thinking of doing a cat eye swap on my 2004 GMC Yukon XL. Should be the same as a Silverado, I would imagine.

What do you adjust for the hood/ fender gap? Can the hood hinges be adjusted? This problem is frustrating.

I have to replace both front fenders and bumper. Passenger side got damaged and the bumper on Pass side just about got ripped off. Replaced the pass side head lights assembly also. But I need a bracket to hold the maker lights in place.

Yo would recommend some leather seat covers. Shi made my nasty ass interior look brand new. On the cat eye conversion, I personally love the 99-02 look. Got led set up tho, so already spent the dough no reason on switching now That truck looks mean as hell tho man.

So i wanted to ask, i got a cateye, 05 with a 6” pro comp lift, looking to do the coilover conversion on it, what size coilovers did you go with? Trying to keep the lift on and just add the coilovers. Was it 2.5 10”? Or 8”

I don’t really know. The guy that makes the kit sent me all the stuff. You just give him a measurement and he sends you what you need.

Does the stock 06 front bumper fit? On a 02.

No I think they make them to fit your stock mounts. So I would still get one for a 03-06 since I swapped the front end components
