Another Beautiful Mistake! Gorgeous and Vibrant Acrylic Pour! Fluid Art Tutorial

These may be the best and brightest colors I've ever used, and it created such a nice acrylic pour! What I started to pour initially took a sudden turn, but in the end looks really great!
I'm really in love with these Phthalo Blues and gorgeous Red Violet which gave amazing contrast to piece! I used Liquitex Gloss Pouring Medium and Floetrol as the pouring medium for this pour as my test!

An interesting result Tony. The colours worked very well together. I really like that red violet, it's like a light aubergine.

Hi Tony this is what my swipes looked like, I thought it was too thick. I used only paint and Aussie Floetrol. Will try adding PM next time

Hey Cindy, thanks for watching! I used floetrol and amsterdam white which usually works just fine, but yes, it is a little more thick than usual. This batch of floetrol is much thicker than the last one too, so some trial and error I think!
I literally just started using Liquitex glossy medium instead of Floetrol yesterday. I want to see if it will help a problem I have with my colors washing out. Your colors start and finish beautifully. I hope mine will too!

Do you use a heat gun or torch?

I use a torch for my pours but also have a heat gun for any pieces I’ve put resin on. Both work great!
