College football has stars every year, but the ones who never make it to the NFL, we tend to forget. It's good to reminiscence on how dominant some of these players once were.

Larry Fitzgerald, Eli, Darren Sproles, Phillip Rivers and Roethlisberger alone on the Heisman finalist list is crazy...them all losing to Jason White is even crazier

Yes, so many college stars dont end up replicating that success in the NFL for whatever reason, but I dont think that should be held against them. Winning a Heisman is an astonishing achievement

Dude Oklahoma has a statue of all five (soon to be 6) of its Heisman trophy winners not just Jason White, its called Heisman park.
KTO I have a suggestion. You should bring back your "Meet The" series with a video about Wally Richardson called, "Meet the NFL player with 1 Passing Yard"

Awesome video. FYI, regarding Jason White's statue, all Heisman trophy winning Sooners have a statue outside the stadium. But he was still special his time there!
MAAAAN! I wanted Taylor Mays to succeed in the NFL so bad! Loved watching him in college, he was my favorite player and I'm not even an SC fan... The thought of a 6'3" 230lb safety that could lay the wood blew me away! Plus he was an absolute beast in Madden with that 97 speed!
I honestly stumbled on to your Channel not too long ago and I got to say I love your content. Awesone man.
Glad to see you took my advice with keeping this going ;) keep making great content. Best wishes
Hell yeah bro a new video. I just found your channel a couple weeks ago and I got to say it's one of the better sports channels out today. Keep it up bro! I'll suggest doing a video on Miami Hurricanes football mostly go in depth on the 2001-2002 team that had a boat load of NFL players on it.
Love the vids man! I find the very informative
Just found your channel a few days ago. Love the channel, subbed!
Awesome seeing Chris Weinkie and Charlie Ward mentioned they are still heavily remembered in the FSU fan base. Couple suggestions might be Ken Dorsey, Eric Crouch and Mike Williams 03 USC receiver.
Bro im DIGGIN YOUR VIDS keep up the good work homie!!!!!

Don't stop doing what you do! Love this stuff...
Keep this series coming. Great trip down memory lane.
Awesome video!
Another Oklahoma QB you may remember, that got injured too was Troy Aikman. He was at Oklahoma 1984-1985, broke his leg and then transferred to UCLA.
This is the best football channel
That Taylor Mays hit at the end would see him suspended 4 games today 😭
Chris was a FULL GROWN man playing against college kids💀
I see we forgot QB Jimmy Johnson of the great Mississippi State dynasty lead by the legendary coach known only by his nickname, "The Bulldog". They say that opposing coaches were so terrified of this team that they quit coaching to make KZread videos, and that they consistently refused to make videos about that Mississippi State team out of spite. Sad to see that the rumors are true

Troy Davis- Iowa St running back. 2,010 yards rushing and 15 rushing TD's in 1995. 2,185 rushing yards and 21 rushing TD's in 1996
For me, the most overlooked USC player from that time was LenDale White. He just absolutely crushed the Texas Longhorns in the 2006 Rose Bowl until they finally stopped him when it mattered most.
Thanks for sharing light on weinke. What a crazy journey.

Nick Folk's little brother kicked a game winning field goal against then powerhouse USC. Back to back years
This dude(Weinke) was so bad as a pro I remember going to a Falcons/Panthers game when Jake Delhomme was hurt and he literally had two pass attempts. DeAngelo Williams ran the Wildcat for the rest of the game. I remember falling asleep several times during this game. This was also years before the Dolphins unleashed it upon the Pats with Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams.
@ArmondoOrtiz76Lincol

I found your comment funny and didn't believe it until I found the game you were talking about. Sunday Dec 24, 2006. It has one of the weirdest stat lines ever and check this out. Weinke was 4-7 for 32yds and a TD his only incompletions were cause of 3 sacks, they ran the ball 52 times, Foster got 28 carries and DeAngelo Williams got 21. Weinke finished with a 108.3 rate. But even funnier was Micheal Vick's stat line, he threw for 109 yds on 20 att and only 9 completions 2 interceptions and was sacked 3 times for a rate of 22.7 Final score Panthers 10 Falcons 3..........no wonder you fell asleep.
@KrazeeClark
5 жыл бұрын
Exactly. As a Panthers fan, I remember Weinke very well. He's just another Jabroni in a long list of Jabroni QBs we have had. He sucks!
Looking back at the old Brodcast of football takes me back
OU will always have an amazing defense. Also I think all of us Sooner fans will remember Jason White. Nice video man keep it up!

Hey kto keep up the great content ! , I was wondering if you could do a video on martavis Bryant, I think he has potential to be the best wr this year
I love these 3 college stars videos because I remember some of these when I was growing up
This is a great series
That last guy from USC never used his hands to make tackles. He was for sure a headhunter hahaha
KTO you should make this a series cause this is the most interesting thing on KZread
Jason White leads me to think of Josh Heupel...and then I think about rival Texas qbs like major applewhite and chris simms...then i think about the roy williams' from both schools
YES!! I love these!
Love these vids do more
I love your videos and keep making them only if my history teacher made videos like you do
So many Heisman Trophy winners never made it in the NFL. Just goes to show how tough it is to play at the pro level...
As a Notre Dame fan, Taylor Mays was awesome. He and Golden Tate had some amazing battles during their college years.
vontez burfict makes that hit and he would be suspended for a year
@orionthomas967
4 жыл бұрын
Levy Little holy shit lol
Mays ran a faster time than 4.4 40yd dash. NFL staffers admitted they used this new tech 40yd dash clock for the first time which was flawed and showed a side by side comparison/race with another athlete running a 4.36 and Mays slowly pulled away taking the race by a half step. That dude Mays got screwed over big time. Great vid!
@robinrodriguez480
4 жыл бұрын
Yea i heard the same thing, and yea he did get screwed over and if i remember correct it was Pete Carroll that did the screwing!!
As a life long diehard Florida Gator fan(I was even born in Gainesville). I hate to admit this, but Peter Warrick was one of my favorite college players ever.
YESSSS WE NEED MORE OF THIS!!!!
Man the one guy I remember from Oklahoma from around that time period was Rhett Bomar
@bustercherry9643
4 жыл бұрын
I remember him getting Bomared by UCLA and Texas.
FWIW, Mays' combine-40 was pretty controversial; one of the more notable examples of how the "electronic" timing they use isn't as reliable as they purport (I believe, b/c it's only stopped electronically, still started by hand). The unofficial (hand-timed both) was 4.24, and while the "official" was 4.43, on the broadcast they overlayed his run with other players & saw he actually finished faster than a player who ran an "official" 4.34 (Trindon Holiday, and behind Jacoby Ford's 4.28). So, it's not crazy to say he likely ran a "real" 4.3. He also played as the Bengal's dime LB (/box S) for 4 years - how he did there, IDK, but 80 games in the NFL ain't _terrible_ (even if he never lived up to his athletic hype), definitely better than other guys in the Completely Forgot series.
I live in Oklahoma and it’s true people still love Jason white maybe more than anyone in the past decade even though I think Baker is probably surpassing him right now
You need to do some more of these, man. Also, you should do a video talking about the best Division 1-AA teams of all time. I think that would be really cool. Most people know nothing about the divisions below 1.
I made Taylor Mays my starting safety in a fantasy draft in madden 25 and I was surprised how good his demo did, kind of cool how he's on this list
That hit was brutal. Mays was my dude to use in NCAA football.
Kto I Wanted to thank you for getting me into college football
Do more video of this subject please. It's dope
What about doing a video about the 2004-2007 Michigan football era with Chad Henne, Mike Hart, and Jake Long? Those were some of the best years ever! Even though they didn’t really win a bowl game until 2008 when they played Florida when Tim Tebow won the Heisman.
Taylor mays had one of the best NFL combines ever in the high 90 percentiles in almost drills
BCS? More like BS

Taylor Mays was a must have on Madden. He was my 2nd SS for years and had 95+ HitPower and 95+ speed
Man I knew Weinke was older when he played at fsu..but same class as Charlie Ward??.Damn never knew that.
Flattened not only the opposing player but he also flattened his own teammate with that hit!! 😱😱
If I could recommend a "what if" video, a good video could be what if Jon Gruden wasn't to the Buccaneers. Presumably the Raiders would have played better, but the Buccaneers also would not have had to trade all those picks away and they might have been able to maintain there defense.
Never Stop Making These Videos!
The USC motto after the co-national championship season was, "Leave No Doubt". After crushing OU, LSU didn't want no part of that SC team
@CRMdrifter

Unfortunately for USC Texas did want a part of them.
Damn, good call on Taylor Mays. I haven't heard that name in a while
I love these
