The thing about locks is that you don't have to use them all the time, times like having guests over are perfect times to lock rooms you don't want them entering.

problem is, most interior door locks can be unlocked with your fingernail. and a padlock on a door would probably raise bigger concerns 😂

Of course people shouldn't enter a room they are told not to, but it'd still be smart to have a lock on it as well. I don't know about interior doors all over the world but my doors are not as easy to be picked with a fingernail, furthermore a guest should never want to pickock a door??? A padlock shouldn't raise more concerns, not any you can't just answer

You have a room like that. You don't replace locks. You then invite someone you know who sees "do not enter" as "you are cordially invited to attend... The dungeon". What did he expect to happen? Not saying she's right or it was ok, but still. When you know and you invite them, and then don't make it confrontationally clear before letting them loose, it's all but settling this up.

Anon handled this perfectly. At least the first part, probably didn't need to go into how he locked himself in with all that gear on him.
