Annuity 3 - Deferred Annuity

This Video is Part 3 of a series of videos on Annuities. This tutorial focuses on the topic of Deferred Annuity in the subject known as Engineering Economics.
An Annuity is a series of equal periodic payments which can take form in 4 types:
1. Ordinary Annuity - annuities where payments are made at the end of every period whereby the first payment falls on the first period.
2. Annuity Due - annuities where payments are made at the beginning of every period whereby the first payment falls on the first period.
3. Deferred Annuity - annuities where the first payment will be deferred to a future date.
4. Perpetuity - annuities that last forever.
A number of problems have also been solved in the video to illustrate the principle of Annuity Due.

Because they are on the same point in the timeline in the cash flow diagram. The future amount of M at period 65 in the upper portion is equal to the present amount of the annuities in the lower portion at period 65.
