At 31, to this day I have never knowingly met my father and never will. I even went as far as legally changing my name to separate from my family completely. I can definitely say I am one of the lucky ones in terms of what I've been able to achieve and being fortunate enough to now be a stay at home. Haven't had to deal with the dating scene in, oof, 14 years? It's so wild watching what has been going on with "young" folk and how having absentee parents influences accountability. Keep doing your dad thangg.
