Particularly love the slow down near the end and the beautiful harmonies. It got me thinking about other music dedicated to young children and I recall almost 30 years ago hearing Korngold's Baby Serenade, which was quite more obviously suggestive of infancy. Brings a smile to my face. Charming, nuanced and well played.

Another very enjoyable piece! It's very sparkling and playful. :) This really has it all: great rhythm, great harmony, great melody, and great structure! I especially like the cheeky ending. ;) I wonder how you incorporated all of Anna's personal details into this. The end result sounds great, in any case! The contrast in the piece is pretty great. I'm sure that, when she's older, she'll appreciate this birthday present to the fullest.

Thank you! My encoding method is very simple really. I explain how I create melodies from names at the start of this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/q6pky7ibZrXHfbw.html Using numbers (such as date of birth etc) is even easier: the number 3 could be the 3rd note of a scale, or chord 3 in the key we're in, etc. Sometimes what gets created sounded pretty good straight away, other times it takes a lot of fiddling around with to get a pleasing sounding piece out of it! Oh right, forgot to read the second half of the comment. XD Yeah, I've thought about using numbers in that way before too. I've never really applied it, though. Interesting to see how you handle it! All is well with me, thanks. :) I actually uploaded a new miniature to youtube this vacation! I'm glad to be able to put out some new stuff, at the very least. I hope you and your family are able to enjoy the holidays to their fullest!
