@@carlosi7026 Unzip the 3 folders into the MOD folder of Anno, as with any other mod. Leave them 'as is', and the Mod Manager will happily load them into Anno. And yes, if you don't use the Mod Loader (and Manager) Mods won't be used.

Thanks Nivarias, much appreciated. The questions now are who fixed it and why it is not uploaded to the Nexus for the many orphaned by the old not-working mod... Or at the very least why there is not even a mention on the corresponding nexus thread that a fix exists.

never mind, i found it on your discord! Thank you! Intersting information from Ac3s. I downloaded his version on nexus before he was banned and im running this. Might be possible that im running the working mod all the time. Was just curious that Princess Xing in my game went from strong to low after version 12. Im wondering if i can just overwrite this mod with the version you have... i dont want to crash my savegame -.-

I have to admit I never installed any Mods in this game. Not because I wouldn't be able to do this, but because the game in the original version is already complex. And with the official DLCs it became over time more and more complex. IMHO any user should play this game first in the original version. It will take time to learn all the aspects. And then with the DLCs, one by one, it takes time to learn all the new aspects. It's like having a Ferrari and thinking about ways to make it faster. Learn to use the original product first - at least IMHO. Thanks Nivarias for all your great videos!

Yes I agree. I certainly intend to mod this game once I've got my head around how the original plays, there is so much depth and complexity that reveals itself as you go along there's more than enough to keep your brain busy. Really looking forward to playing with mods, but that is sometime in the future for me.

I just watched your other helpful video a few days ago I believe and this one with the mods will be helpful too! I am playing without mods atm, because it's all new to me and I'm afraid I would be overwhelmed. If I continue good thru this run, I'm going for the mods. Some of them anyway! I'm not a big battle person but I love to watch you battle! Me I would die in minutes lol

Most of them just add sanity to some of the time wasting rules from Ubisoft. Plus some add the obvious features the New World, and Enbesa, and the Arctic should have had naturally.

Anno venice, 1800 and Battlefield 1 best games ever

Perhaps I'm over thinking this, not having modded Anno 1800 before, but the mechanics of how to do it is simple enough but are you aware if the mods you list still work as expected with the latest 14.3 game updates..? Sometimes when I read the comments from some of the noted mods in this list they suggest that some of them no longer work..? For example "Spice It Up" in the comments the latest suggest that multiple parts of the mod no longer work with the 14.3 update. Do you have any thoughts on that, perhaps they are not compatible..? Is this list still relevant for the modded game you play today..? Thanks, and subbed :)

Can you post a complete modlist of your megacity Playlist?...Like me some players can't enjoy it upto it's full potential...with the modlist we would be able to do so...

I have a problem with AI opponent, I got an very old save and as more dlcs I included to it, my AI opponent stopped buying shares or building up on its empty islands, I really would like to have more AI opponents, last hope you mentioned allows us to add AI opponents ingame. would that mod solve this issue by adding new AI opponents? I intend to add some fresh AI to my save and remove the mod afterwards

likely you used mods which are now broken because Ubisoft keeps changing the base code of the game piece by piece with every path/DLC they release, this is the sole reason why I remain on GUI 11 of the game with my 500+ hour savegame, simply updating my game can literally ruin my savegame and break my current mods.

If u are ever unsure of what a specific mode does then open its folder and then open the "modinfo" textfile that is in there and scroll down abit and u se a section called "Description" There are 2 lines there in english and german that gives a short description of what the mod actully does. Dont just copy paste all the mods over without knowing what they do or u could run into worse problems then just the sandbox mod problem. A quick example i recently found out is that the mod that removes royal taxes does more then just that. That mod also reduces your investor income by 30% aswell as reduces Beer and Rum income by 15%.

If you both have the same mods installed there won't be a problem!

Unfortunatly fixed version is no longer downloadable or am I wrong?

With all due and respects - but why do you recommend a mod that is "maybe" downloadable on your Discord channel? You could put that one at the end as a "Bonus" but not in the main category...

Military Mod fix is just absolutely necessary but Nexus Mods is not allowing it. You can find the fixed version probably in other locations too Perhaps I link it to this video? It was not meant as a "catch" for my server...

I recently bought a GPU upgrade and now when I try to play anno1800 I get a directx error after a while, the game is quite slow and seems really bottlenecked. Is there an optimization mod? Or could it be my ram? (16gb)

Mess with the settings, especially resolution. See if it now uses your added card, or if it went to onboard graphics even. Also reinstalling might force it to use your new card, if nothing else helps.
