Canadian heavy metal/thrash legends ANNIHILATOR today reveal the official video for “Armed To The Teeth,” the opening track off the band’s explosive seventeenth studio album, Ballistic, Sadistic.
Founding guitarist, vocalist, producer and principal songwriter Jeff Waters of the track: “ARMED TO THE TEETH is simply about how one should never judge a book by it’s cover. If you poke a bear with a stick, abuse or bully someone or treat a living creature with disrespect, be prepared that it might turn around and retaliate, far beyond what you ever thought possible. The retaliation could be ballistic and sadistic. Whether it’s about a music industry jerk bullying an artist or about a kid being bullied on the way home from school; karma will catch up to you and bite you in the face. Someday. Although this is a very heavy and aggressive song, we chose to represent the subject by clips of a teen getting bullied; a serious, common and relevant subject to touch on… and we thought it more appealing than showing this 53 year old musician taking shit from someone in the music biz! @@MadnessOpus Just looked it up. Annihilator formed in 1984. Aaron Homma born in 87, and Rich Hinks born in 88, so yeah, it is more than my feeling now. Three of these guys are young enough to be the sons of the groups groupies.

Its His project,his band he can do/hire/fire/kick/create whatever.... Ah and for those who say that some of the albums aren't good... did u ever being in a band??? Did u ever had a contract?? You know that sometimes companies NEED a album cause the contract says so??? If i was in his place my music also would be bad if i HAD to make an album and not feel to make an album... he's great but not perfect. much better than Dave Padden's metallic (as in whiny, not heavy metal) voice tho. Dave should never have joined as a singer tbh. Imagine the "all for you" and Schizo Deluxe albums with Jeff's growls AND cleans.

I first learned about Annihilator in the 90s in Cuba with “king of the kill” album and fell in love with this band 👍👍👍👍
Awesome... kinda hard to mellow out when a blast from the past continues the tradition of making hard aggressive metal that made me happy as a young man ,when these guys first came out and being Canadian eh, absolutely still love this edge... still sharp and I was in my 20's when Alice in Hell came out, still wrench my neck more and still live their tunes! Thanx guys and keep metal alive...
Jeff Waters is one of my all time favorite guitarists. The guy is a bad ass.

Finally,Mr Waters combine tougher vocals with armed to the teeth music,and Annihilator can compete with the big boys in metal music.

Good to see Jeff with Jackson.
Some incredible leads, of the caliber of the very first album. Which I bought with some of my first working dollar when it originally came out. Catchy thrash riffs. The flying V looks/sounds mighty familiar. Jeff's vocal style here fits much better than on the previous album imo. Wouldnt be surprised if Annihilator gains new fans while re-hooking some ancient ones too.

ok.... holy fuck. first off im an old school metal head, ok im just old. im 45, and have been mostly into death metal my entire life. ive seen annihilator albums my entire life it seems. but cant honestly say i have ever listened to them. where the fuck have i lost my way. holy shit. not only is the old school heavy metal or thashy vibe very present. but i have to admit, the video as simple as it was, really made the tune. i fucking love this shit. i am saddened to what i have missed over the years. but i apparently will be doing some serious listening i have some catching up to do. well done chaps. fucking killer tune.
There are so many legendary bands that are not only releasing new stuff, but releasing new stuff that's really good!!!

@@Havanacuba1985 Early Pantera was Glam crap. You won't even remember Diamond Darrell. All in spandex. They were friends and were hanging out a lot. Both were asked to play in Megadeth, but did their own thing. Dime with his brother Vinnie and Jeff with Annihilator.
