Well, he dated Cece because Annie said the kiss meant nothing. Cece was basically just a left over sandwich that no one has feelings for so Ty decided to push his feelings away for Annie and date someone who he doesn't have feelings for.

Forget the parents, I care about Annie & Ty. I pray there is a season 2.

it was literally 3 sec, he was shock, he had no reation. This time they both liked each other but I dont think he let she kiss him, he just had no reaction.

i think that when Annie kissed Ty, he realized that he had feelings for Annie, but it scared him, and he didn’t know what to do. Instead of addressing those feelings, he started dating Cece, who was the easy and safe choice. I can’t wait for season two!

I think so too. His mom said you can't help who you're attracted to and he just gave this look like he knew how she felt. I think Annie saying she didn't mean it and kicking him out made him back away even more.

Same here! I am the mom‘s age but frankly Ty/Annie is by far the most interesting romance. The others were obvious; we knew Ryan would be the quintessential heartbreaker & Helen deserved better, same with the Bill/Maddie/Cal/Noreen/Dana Sue dramas. As amazing as the show is for many other reasons, the adult romances are following predictable romantic drama tropes. It’s Ty & Annie that brings the real emotions, and great chemistry between the actors.

In the books she has a eating disorder that lands her in the hospital bc it caused her a heart attack and ty was there for her that’s how their relationship started. In the tv show probably it was Annie in the car with Kyle and the accident brings them together after he gets scared of losing her. But I know ce ce is gonna cause issues(in the books her name is dee dee).

I was so disappointed that Tyler ended up dating Cece and he and Annie grew apart after the whole phone recording fiasco. It seemed like they ran in different circles though since Ty is a jock and Annie is more of a loner. I'm hoping he branches out and reconnects with her because helloooo Ty Annie is gorgeous!!

You can tell Ty was jealous when Simon grabbed Annie’s phone away at the after party, look at the way he was staring at them bc she grabbed his arm !!! Ugh my heart

Here's the thing: If Ty didn't like Annie that way he wouldn't have been so hurt when she said the kiss meant nothing. Going by Carson's insta stories from the bts pics that he has posted, it looks like Ty and Annie might be getting together in season 2, can't wait!!! Im still convinced that the passenger is Annie and that's what's going to bring her and Ty together!!!!

The way he reacted when she said the kiss ment nothing. He wanted it to mean something or he wouldn’t have reacted like he did. He cared for her when she was drunk at the party. He didn’t pull away at the kiss. He gave her his jacket. He got mad at his brother for the position he put Annie in

I really thought they had something going on in the beginning of the season. Like when Ty’s best friend asked Ty who he was texting he said “No one” so I really thought they were hiding their relationship, but after Annie kissed Ty. He started to push himself away from her.

Hi im 1yr late but yeah i noticed that too. I think the feeling is mutual from the very beginning they just don't realize it especially Ty. He's very protective of Annie ,he even went out with Cc to save Annie from the gossip. He's confused and in denial after the kiss, Annies is trying to reach out but he's avoiding her. When Annie got hurt and avoided him bcoz of what jackson did he begin to realize his feelings for her. I started to notice Annie even when many people are around. I love the last 2 episodes where he's paying attention to Annie than before. Looking forward for season 2 bcoz of these two♥️♥️♥️

Their fight scene was one of the best I have seen for teens in tvshows

You can tell they have a connection, even though we didn’t get to many scenes with them you can still tell. In their eyes, every stare they share. You can tell they really care about each other, they are just both trying to ignore it.

I adore all this affection for Annie. She and Ty are awesome, the show is awesome, and all of your are awesome for pouring out all this love.

I really want Kyle to start liking Nelly since she’s obviously into him. Also, I’m pretty sure Ty and Annie are gonna end up together one way or another and Kyle is just too great and I’d hate for his heart to get broken.

I binged the whole season in one endless night a day ago ...since then I dove into the books because I couldn't wait for more and I've gone back to rewatch my favorite scenes. I'm on book 2 now in the series, I hope they don't continue to change TOO much because I'm SO excited to see the rest of what I've read play out on screen!

They fit so well together and they would make a really great pairing. I can't wait to see season two. I hope they elaborate on this a lot more in the show. The person who made this video did a really good job, i love this sooo much.

I definitely love a good love story and this show is definitely something that filled the void of what's missing on regular tv. Someone to root for. But poor Kyle. I feel so horrible for him also. I definitely need a season 2 like right now. The anticipation is going to kill me. By the way love the background song!

I think Peggy and Ryan are Isaacs parents. I think that because in a conversation in the spa Cafe Peggy said to Helen that she knows what Helen was going through. Helen asked what happened to Peggy and Peggy said if you were my friend you would know. I think what happened to Peggy was exactly what happened to Helen.

ugh she’s absolutely stunning

well, he definitely likes her and is trying to figure it out lol he talked about it with his best friend. also, in the last episode, he kept gravitating towards her - and when they were dancing they were looking at each other. they are trying to figure it out, and i am rooting for them. i think s2 will start with either 1) both of them looking for kyle and nelly and eventually talking about their feelings for each other, or 2) kyle and annie are in the car and ty is going to have a wake-up call. he obviously likes her - he does a lot, but he's trying to figure it out because he's been hurt so much in the past year like lol it's hard for him to trust his feelings. i really love this show, it's clean, wholesome and refreshing. my least favorite part was the relationship between the mom and coach LOL!! but I'm excited for the love triangle in s2. their dad needs to MAN UP.

Wow! I agreed with you up until the end. I actually love Maddie and Cal together. How come you don’t like them? And I do not like Bill. They will not be getting back together. But I liked your analysis of Ty and how he talked to his best friend about the kiss. And I think season 2 will pick up with Annie being the passenger and Ty getting the wake up call! I can’t wait to see what season 2 will be like! But we need to let Netflix know we want a season 2!!!

Possible Outcomes of the Car accident of the end of season 1. Imagine Annie was in the car accident and Ty regrets not telling annie how he felt and he lost her and his brother. Imagine Ty was the one in that car and Annie lost both Ty and Kyle and Maddie lost both of her sons and Naveen child was a son. Imagine Jackson's sister nellie was the one in the car and jackson regrets ruining his sister party and regret talking to ty and bothering him because it caused the fight.

I want them to end up together so bad!!! Does anyone else think it would be cool if Jackson and Annie dated and then Ty is jealous and realizes his true feelings for her!!!
