Hey everyone! I haven't posted anything for a really long time because I've been really busy lately but the new season of AWAE is super inspiring so I just had to make something. I hope I'll have time to make even more AWAE edits before the third season ends but the first relationship I wanted to focus on was Anne and Marilla's. Not just in S3, but throughout the whole series.
Isn't the progress they've made since the first episode amazing? Marilla seems really strict and everything but it's obvious she loves Anne so much. She's one of the characters who have a heart of gold but are afraid to show it, and you know I have a weakness for them. So here's a vid about all they've been through since the very first episode, hope you enjoy! xx

Marilla is one of those characters that you think is the cold heartless one, but over time you realise she has the biggest heart ♥️

I love how strong the bond is between Anne and Marella

I loved Marilla the moment she got on screen. Very sensible woman just like my grandmothers
I believe mrs cuthbert at first was not used to being soft so she didnt know how to apologize or be soft bit I feel that anne melted that stubborness and toughness just by being in her life
Their bond throughout the series was one of the most beautiful things I had ever witnessed
This made me cry... And I haven't even seen the show!!

Aw thanks ^^ And you should definitely watch it, I promise you won't regret it!! It's called Anne with an E and it's available on Netflix, season 3 came out on Netflix two days ago :)
That scene of Anne on the back of the wagon just breaks my heart! You want to hug her and love her!

Same here!! I fell in love during the very first episode and it's my absolutely favorite show out of all the ones I've seen - and I've seen a lot of them! 💕

Marilla had a tough life having to raise her much younger brother and protect him from their mother. She said that hardened her. But then along comes Anne and eventually Marilla becomes the person she always wanted to be. Then also she comes to realise that her younger self and Anne are really pretty similar.

I like their relationship better in the book. After the broche incident Marilla drives Anne to White Sands, but decides not to give her up to the lady. She's a sensible and serious woman with a very high sense of duty, so she would not kick out a girl she feels responsible for, not even if she is angry. Also, rushing into decisions is very unlike her. In the book the turning point is when Anne is dared to walk on Diana's house roof ridge and she falls over. When Marilla is told and she's running over to the Barry estate, she realises she loves Anne more than anything in the world.
