The time period is different so maybe that has something to do with it, but on her first day of school I’m pretty sure Diana speaks up for her and says she’s not an orphan anymore and Anne basically tells her that’s not how it works (S1: E3, 7m 41s)

1:36 was such a powerful moment for me; you can see how gilbert is soooo in love with anne, but what really hits me is how much she's grown. like, when she first got to green gables...she was a little girl. and look at her before going to university. she looks so happy, so free....

Anne with an E is one of my favorite series...It makes you understand how difficult a lot of people feel during their life. Congratulations! 💜

Their just so meant to be no one can match Anne's energy like Gilbert ♥️💯🤭

Truly devastated that this got cancelled. I resonate with Anne so much being a red head being teased, my parents both died (by the time I was 27 though) I have a temper and I always put my foot in it. I'm feisty too and I adore nature. Her and Gilbert are the most adorable things ever. This whole series was done so well. Each and every character were flawless. I also adored Anne and Diana's friendship throughout. Magical yet tragically that they couldn't continue on with the series.

Idk about you but this is one of my favorite shows now and I already had high expectations but Gilbert put them on a whole other level! I love him sm

When he said, "I wanna be with my family" with that look on his face after that, AFTER the shot of his family AND HERS- please I couldn't stop screaming in excitement

I'm crying just watching this because this show has meant SO MUCH to me... so much. I relate so much to Anne and this show taught me so many lessons. I cried my eyes out on the last episode for about 10 minutes straight. I don't understand how one tv show can be so meaningful to me but it was
