Annabelle's Mansion | Haunted Mayors Abandoned Mansion . Were we being watched....?!!

Ойын-сауық

Hey my lovely explorers, today we are off on a yet another European Road trip adventure.... this time to Belgium!!
Set in a beautiful town within Belgium this mansion was owned by the Mayor and occupied by his family. He had a wife and 2 children, a boy and girl.
Now laying In forgotten abandonment the Mayor remained living in the house as one by one his kin passed away starting so sadly with his little girl....
The Mayor's daughter passed away at a young age and so the house was known locally as ‘Mansion Annabelle.’ It is even said that a little girl can sometimes be seen walking the hallways and staircase. Many claim to have seen her. Maybe Annabelle still visits her home.....does she know we made a visit!!!!
For now it remains abandoned, forgotten and lost in time. Exploring is about revisiting the past and preserving the memories, stories and history for future generations. Remember take nothing but photographs and leave nothing but footprints.

Old houses actually were designed to breathe. This is an exquisite example of Arts and Craft Design, complete with intact French doors. My dining room has the exact wood paneling style as the room you showed. Built in the same time era, but my home is smaller...3 floors, full basement, 16 rooms, where ‘‘tis is much larger from the look of it. Great job...thanks.🖤🇨🇦

Omg that was amazing- the tall doors leading to the garden, all that stained glass was so beautiful. The big dining room all panelled and the furniture was magnificent. Very grand place and such a shame to be left to decay it’s beyond sad. Peoples experiences all rotting away. This was a fabulous find 🌹

As I always say this is one of my favorite explores! I loved everything. The first bedroom you went in, there was a good bit of detail of the headboard that I would have loved to get a bit of a closer look at but I'm speechless! Wow!! All the wood work in the furniture is just amazing & knowing the time, effort & skill that was used to create it just makes me want to pack my bags and go. Each room was unique and decorated with class :) Upstairs, the walls looked to have a shine on them, what were they made of? It almost looked like marble? I've got to name a couple things that just stood out. 1.) Those massive stained glasss french doors-so beautiful there's no way you could not walk in that house and smile. 2.) The cherub light fixture in the twin bedroom and 3.) the last two main rooms that were immaculate and 4.) the ornate wood work, for the crown molding, walls and ceilings. The basement gave me chills just looking down the stairs. No way this girl's going down there and I'm one of those nosey people that has to be all up in peoples business and I grew up on a country road-lol. Also, did you ever check out the loft? Thanks for a great find. Filing it away! I don't know what to drop in the P.O. Box but I'm on a hunt for something.. Take care, God Speed xoxo Kat

Hi Dave, a beautiful home just sitting there going to waste, I find it a big shame that there are so many properties that are abandoned that could potentially be used to help people who are homeless, with a big building like that you could turn it into a drug/alcohol rehab centre which would help these people towards having their own home and job and being drug/alcohol free. Thank you for sharing this lovely location. xx

This is such a gorgeous mansion. I love the wood and details. I wish they still built houses and furniture like this. Sad to see the pictures sitting ready for ruin. Is there a way to preserve them? Would the local historical society or a local museum take some of the memorabilia? Even that furniture. So heartbreaking seeing it sitting there wasting away. By the way, love your videos. Love your voice. I could listen to you all day!! 😍😉😂

how great was that tiling on the kitchen floor.. loved the pattern. Its so sobering to think that once this house was full of noise, voices and laughter and tears, as the family lived through their various adventures themselves and tragedies too. Now only the house speaks for them, again very sobering, and you treat all the places you go to with respect. I love having pictures to look at. I know most people keep pictures on computer these days but my late father was an amateur photographer and developed his own pictures in his darkroom. I enjoy having the pictures he took as now, both my parents have died, i love flicking through the photo album and look at not only the photographs but also the time my father took to take the pictures and develop them, he really loved that hobby. Great memories. Thanks for another wonderful explore Dave :) hope you and your loved ones are well.

I know you say you never take things from locations which I totally agree with, but have you ever thought of opening a museum in the future with certain artifacts from locations. Its so sad to see them not preserved, open to looters and not in good hands! Im sure the previous owners and the family wouldn't mind a piece of their history being documented. I know I wouldnt! Keep doing what your doing and thank you for such an amazing chanel and videos. Can't wait to see your popularity grow and grow. Take care xx

You are the only one I can stand to watch, because if you don’t know what something is ,you’ll ask if ppl know what it is.. not just make up stuff, drives me crazy. You also take your time going through things and show ppl around , you have a passion for beautifully hand crafted items. You seem to respect the house and ppl that once lived there. Respect! Thank you for the adventures! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰

The stair case is beautiful , I love the way it turns like that. The second floor walls are amazingly beautiful. The furniture is beautiful as well. So stuff does not look that old either. I love the old pictures they are amazing, Nothing like we have now.
