I have always loved this song. So sad. It amazes me it didn't get the plaudits and sales it deserved, but now I'm rather pleased it's my prized secret song!

i just found her vinyl record in my attic. I think my dad listened to it back in the day.

I hope he did. An unplayed record is a sad thing.

This struck me as an expression of disillusionment as hard as ten years earlier when I heard Bowie's Cygnet Committee.

I loved her ! Therefore in the 80s.

Tell 'Bella' Arthur 'Max' Sneeden says Hi! Been a very long time !

I like the way she drapes the microphone cord over her shoulder, as though she is dragging the weight of the heavily cynical lyrics she wrote and sings.
