This is my resident Anna’s Hummingbird Christina’s chick, Solo. Christina, the mother hummingbird, is feeding her baby chick in the video. One of her eggs did not hatch, but she is happily taking care of her one and the only chick. The chick in the video is 14 days old. Christina’s feeder is 20 yards away from the nest and I provide her with fresh nectar (sugar water) daily. Christina goes to catch bugs often for her chick.
