If you watch the behind the scenes of ozymandias, she really earned that Emmy. She didn't just display fear, and worry, she actually made herself FEEL scared, and worried, in order to give a great performance. She's amazing.

@@martysonn well it's kinda hard to be scared and worried when you have nothing to be scared and worried about. That episode was towards the ending of the show. So she was completely comfortable in her environment, and with the crew of the show. So its not like she was scared, or worried about acting in front of a group of people. The behind the scenes, shows her constantly goofing off with the other actors, and with the crew. So she probably had to trick her brain into being scared and worried for whatever reason she could come up with. Or she made herself really believe that her child just got kidnapped by her psycho, meth cook of a husband.

Props to Skyler but that's what all great actors do, if they don't feel the acting then the emotions aren't conveyed to us as much. Not every actor can do it though and that's what separates a great and decent actor.

I personally don't get the Skylar hate. Chuck on BCS is a spiteful, jealous, petty asshole who sabotages his brother at every turn because he can't stand him actually succeeding. Skylar is a mother who's concerned for her family's safety and wants her husband to stop selling drugs and killing people. I don't know about you, but I get it lol

Funny she is vilified for her portrayal of Skyler White when she was the glue that held the family together! I loved the show! I understood what Walt was trying to achieve and how it corrupted his soul. Everything in this show made perfect scene! Skyler White was looking out for her family and so was Walt.

i definitely hated on her during breaking bad, but after i grew up and watched it again i realized she killed it. absolutely killed it. great actor and a well spoken person too.

What a BEAUTIFUL lady, amazing actress. Couldn't get enough of her and Brian's chemistry and deep acting.

I watched breaking bad for the first time when i was a teenager and i hated her character, thought she was annoying and negative. I just rewatched breaking bad as an adult with life experience and wow, i actually saw the show through skyler’s eyes and felt so bad for her, and i saw just how good of a performance the actress gave. I’m glad she won, definitely deserved.

The most beautiful thing is to see Anna and Bryan hugging and kissing each other. It's like seeing Walter and Skyler finally happy together. It's like happy ending we didn't have in series.

Because this series is so phenomenal and engrossing, I keep watching it over and over. And in every single episode I am just astounded at the rich acting talents of Anna Gunn! She brings expressive emotive content into every line, and nuances of feeling that few actors can reach.

the chemistry between the two was palpable. Such synergy. Such love.

Anna Gunn deserved this soooo much. As a huge Mad Men fan though it still stings to see Christina Hendricks lose, she was incredible. But i guess this was the time when everyone was just waiting for Breaking Bad to end in order to get an Emmy lol.

it's sad how so many of BB fans were boys who hated on Skylar's character to act alongside bryan cranston and to just hold your own is worthy of 3 emmys she did more than hold her own

When you can hold your own as an actor with Bryan Cranston but also go above him... the bedroom scene where they're playing cat and mouse strategies against each other and she breaks down that she doesn't have his magic she's weak and just waiting for his cancer to come back. She could have won the emmy off that scene alone. Add in Ozymandias, it was no competition.

That was one hell of a nominated group.
