“the stage is a magical place where i can be beautifully in and out of control, where i can build a fire and then jump into it,” says the esteemed and pioneering rock and roll hall of fame legend who’s known for her force-of-nature vocals. “the stage is where i have always lived; where i've expressed my deepest emotions and supreme joys.” ann continues: “i suppose i am addicted to it. i’ve never been much good at talking, but i can sing, and when i sing i connect with people in a much deeper, higher way.”
what will fans experience at these shows? “people can expect the unexpected in 2017,” ann says. “a beautiful, classy set with an elegant, artistic production…the music will be a mix of songs that have powered my life; iconic soul stirring covers, songs from my years of solo work and the unforgettable songs of heart.” the name for the upcoming tour, explains ann, “is to give people a point of recognition; to help people understand who i am and where i came from."

Queen Ann sings this better than the original Singer (The Black Crows) and that speaks a lot of volume. One of the best Singers ever!!!

Wow! Then again, it's Ann Wilson. When you can bring tears to Robert Plant, you are on a completely different level on being good.
I've been in love with this woman for 40 years. She doesn't age. And her voice just gets better and better.

Always thought Nancy was hotter. Something about the guitar I guess. Loved Heart since I was a kid. Saw them in concert and they did 2 Zeppelin covers!! Who could ask for more. My wife got hammered made a fool of herself we got in a huge argument on the train. lol Ahh the memories.....

Would have to agree, best female rock singer ever. But not the best female singer, that's Judith Durham.
Ann Wilson is one of a VERY FEW vocalists who have given me chills, gooseflesh, and physical spine tingles just SINGING. I don't CARE how sexy anybody considers her or about weight fluctuations or any of that. The woman is an utter badass End of story.

Ann does not age. She is stunning in appearance and in song. I have loved HEART ❤️ and Ann since my college days 1976-79. We wore out their LPs. Keep on singing lovely lady.
I was a senior in high school when I saw Heart in concert. I was amazed by such an angelic young woman who could sing like no other. I am sixty now and still amazed. In this song she talks to angels. I am fortunate that I am still able to listen to one through the music of Ann Wilson. I hope that the legacy of your music may last for many more lifetimes.

There are a very few voices from my childhood that transport me right back to the happy times when on the radio, they were ubiquitous. Burton Cummings, Karen Carpenter, and of course, the great Ann Wilson always bring a smile, or other emotion to me when I hear them. 👽✌️

Wherever they might need to, they either take it or they don't. And I don't carry the guilt anymore. This is a great song. I love it totally. You did a great job and I love your voice. I've Omar whelmed wow. I bet a lot of people couldn't relate to this song since you did it. And you explained it in the interview and got blessed❤😊😊❤❤❤😊
When I would see the tapes of the girls crying over the Beatles, I would think 'what is the wrong with those people?' I have been a fan of Heart since I was 11. I had albums, wore out cassettes, and then had CD's. Finally had the chance to see them in my 30's ... the first note and the tears flowed. But the two best were Ann singing "Reign On Me" at Woodstock - it was a moving experience. And when I saw just Ann at the Palace Theatre in Greensburg PA. It is a small venue and we had seats in the 5th row. I was so excited. When I walked into the theatre and saw how close I would be my eyes swelled with tears. I stood in reverence and pride for every note. Now I get I why they cried. Listening to this video tears streamed down my face. some true artists can just move you. Thank you Ann for sharing your gift.
Love Ann! One of my favorite live performances was in early 90s when she duets wild horses with Chris Cornell.
You gotta love Ann. One of the all time greats. She right there with Johnette Napolitano, Stevie Nicks, Annie Lennox, Linda Perry and Debbie Harry. I wore out Dreamboat Annie when I was a teenager. Love ya Ann !

Love Ann and when she does a cover (stairway, dream on...) its almost always a complete winner. but i gotta say on this one she strikes out.....

Ann's pipes have held up over the years pretty darn well Glad she has learned some restraint instead of balls to the wall belting of everything. The band Heart got me tjrough some backward teenage and young adult years Thank you Ann for the soundtrack of my youth and hope you and Nance iron things out and give us an epic going away present

I saw them on that tour as well in Bloomington Illinois and I believe it was 1982.

August 1990 , this English Chef, working in Santa Maria California , rode his Kawasaki kz1000ST up to Paso Robles state fair to see Black Crowes and Heart ... Someone passed me a dodgy cigarette, and it took me an hour to find my bike (!) I rode south for a while, fell asleep at a Gas station .. they dragged me around the back parked my bike and in the morning I thanked them for looking after me ! A tall Black dude called Alonso looked after my bike . It's nearly 30 years on..and I'd love to buy him a beer or five...Black Crowes and Heart were Fantastic! I cherish this little memory forever ...

I have always loved this song but it really hit home when I became the one talking to angels and carrying a locket of my son's hair with me when he passed in 2010. Great job Ann, you sing it so well
