I had refused to pay $400 - $500 for noise-cancelling headphones so when I saw these, I purchased them for an upcoming trip. With me not knowing much about the technology behind noise-cancelling headphones, my fiance insisted on testing them. When they arrived, he pulled them right out of the box, put them on and spent the next 30 minutes testing them. When he was done, he passed his old headphones to me and said he was keeping mine. I laughed. He loved them and said he was going to purchase a pair for himself. He is an I/T person so if he loved them, I knew I had made a great choice.

I’ve been using Soundcore earbuds and headphones for close to a decade. I own a 3 Anker Soundcore BT speakers and all of them punch WAY above their price just like these headphones. One was the Motion Boom which is about $100 and sounded better than a $300 JBL once I did a few simple tweaks to the EQ just like with these Q45's. I ended up buying another one and pairing them together so for backyard hangouts, parties, etc I take both and they are amazing. The other one is a small one for $40 that sounded better than my Sony $80 BT speakers. Such amazing value from these Soundcore speakers/headphones.

Same! I had Soundcore Spirit Sports for working out and they had 8 hr battery, IPX7, and clear balanced sound with bass that could punch your head off when the song called for it. The real test was using the Q30 while on my gas riding mower - the noise cancelling was awesome. I have a larger head and the q30 is comfortable. Today, i saw the Q45 on sale on Amazon for $67 during a lightning deal, so i ordered those as well. I've heard that the q30 has a better mic for calls. I've had a set of Life Tune XR headphones for about a year and a half now. The sound quality is great, as is the battery life and ANC capabilities. I'm not sure if they used the same algorithm, but since I play guitar I've found I can set it to transparent, listen to music in the headphones, and jam over that on guitar in that mode. It sounds clear, and natural. Only downside for thie particular pair I have, is they're sensitive to physical abuse and I have to be careful when I'm stretching them over my head.

I'm glad they got rid of the touch transparency and the auto pause features the Q-35's had since these by my experience proved faulty and more problematic than useful, often times being turned on by accident. Changes that I don't like with these, however, include the app now restarting your headphones if you switch between LDAC mode and the connecting quality mode, and you can no longer be connected to two devices at once in LDAC mode. Also, these shockingly have significant sound bleed compared to the Q-35's. Additionally, I've not been able to get the play/pause button to work on these while watching Netflix on my smart TV. I haven't tried that yet with other sources. I do love the adaptive and customizable noise cancelling features, and the hearing protection option; those are smart. I'll have to do more testing, but I'm hoping the lesser amount of foam on the headband means less making a giant dent in my hair that can only be removed with lots of water.

I am trying one now. Your video is spot on on everything about this headset. Only thing is when I pair this to my PC, the sound quality dropped significantly and I couldnt find anyway to correct it. When it is connected to the phone it sounds perfectly fine due to the adjustable EQ. Initially I am planning to use it heavily on my personal PC for music/movies/gaming, now I have to use it for work only because the ANC is very good.

Bought these primarily for use while snowblowing. My snowblower has a ~15HP engine that is LOUD. I listen to music etc. at lower volumes. The ANC on these reduces noise levels enough that I don't have to turn up the volume on my source at all. Best hundred bucks I could have spent.

@@EyeMaMoeRahn they lasted for about 15 months of everyday heavy use and finally one of the ear cups broke. I wasn’t being careful. They could of lasted longer. They are actually pretty good. One feature of the Q45 is missing which Q30 had. Which is when you cup your right ear it goes from ambience to noise cancellation without ever needing to press a button, which is a few seconds faster. It’s minor, but thoughtful. I knew about it from the beginning then forgot to take advantage.

Usually (on any other headphones I’ve used) when I answer using iPhone I can talk via iPhone’s speaker and mic, and when I answer via headphones’ button I can talk via headphones. It was very convenient and expected behaviour. On soundcore q45 when someone is calling me I need to change manually to iPhone speaker - doesn’t matter if I answer using my iPhone or headphones they are used for phone calls by default. Could not agree more, Soundcore is a great company. Last year I finally got sick and tired of big over-the-ear headphones and purchased the Liberty Air 2 Pro's on a Black Friday sale, I really like them, and use them constantly. Even though I have an iPhone, I just didn't want Airpods. Apple makes good devices with their iPhones and iPads, but their accessories are almost always overpriced and overrated.

Great review.. have a pair of teugel anc headphones which I got in a dept store in Berlin whilst on holiday several years ago.. been very happy with them, at the time I tested them in store against Sennheiser and Bose options and they came out on top… but over time I found they’re a bit uncomfortable if worn for more than an hour, and noise cancelling isn’t great, although sound quality is pretty good. I recently sold them and been looking for an alternative, As an iPhone/iPad user drawn I’m towards the AirPods Max, but they are so expensive and I’m intrigued to see if a new version of the Max might come out in the next few months, so for me seeing these on sale in the UK for around £85, I think they will be ideal, not too expensive and then depending on what comes out from Apple in the next few months I can either give them on to someone in the family, or maybe even sell them- fingers crossed, but I think they’re going to be a great solution and maybe if I’m really happy with them I won’t even exchange them for a year or two!

Dear Max thanks a bunch for this very interesting, intuitive and HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL video. Last November, I‘ve bought the "Sennheiser Momentum 4" for 250.- Swiss Francs which equals to 275 $. Oh Boy, what a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT in my book. I have to say that I‘m SSD = Single Side Deaf, which doesn’t make the whole "Music listen Experience" easier. First the volume, doesn’t cut it, I‘ve expected more muffle of the noises around me. Every 15 minutes there was a connection dropout. Last but not least, the clamp pressure which basically isn’t there at all, so I‘ve had to be very careful not to move faster than Slow-Motion, if I didn’t want to lose them. You’ve asked about any "Soundcore Products": I‘ve got the Liberty 2 Pro‘s and the Liberty 3 Pro‘s earbuds, with whom I‘m very happy. My question about the "Space Q45" is: How about the volume??? Greetings from the Cheese & Chocolate Country Switzerland 🇨🇭

Which of the Q35 or Q45 will best match the comfort/fit of the MX3? I think I prefer the Q45, because I am not a bass sound person, and ANC is better than the Q35, but I am a bit reluctant reading about the smaller cushion on the top and tighter clamping.
