I am not throwing huge pool parties by the way, I'm just gonna use this for a barbecue party for a group of 6-8 people in my backyard, I dont have a problem with loud music sound though I'm just looking for a decently loud but clear sound speaker.. 80 watt's of power is more than enough for me because I like to listen to Enrico Caruso. So those old recordings were not electric or have any bass and sound like they were recorded using a hollowed out tube as the main microphone but, hey loud booming bass is not what I bought it for. To me u don't need loud bass to listen to your favorite music.

    I respectfully disagree and would say you are mistaken if this was a party speaker from like 10 years ago then I'd say yeah running the party lights would eat up a lot but these are like low voltage LEDs, at best they consume 1 volt but they're not always consuming an entire volt they flash and strobe so the power fluctuates and I will go as far to say that they probably almost always consume half of a volt and at their Max brightness and entire volt, I didn't notice a difference between using the lights versus not using the lights I pretty much got the same amount of play time at best I say you sacrifice 10 minutes extra play time using the lights and that's being generous

    It has only one tweeter because for the size of the speaker thats what it needs...the problem with the tweeter is that is not very efficient. Makes looks that is two instead of one is to be consistent with the design. I got the big one and is the same issue....I think the tweeter can be changed for a better one if the person know how to modified or improve the sound thru the app with new firmware...but over all is very well made with nice features and quality build....I like mine and the sound is not bad, it just that it could be better in terms of the highs, but the b bass is ok in my opinion....!!!

  • @MacTheode

    @MacTheode

    3 жыл бұрын

    While the premise of your statement may hold up in technical arguments. If they (Soundcore) would have chosen a bit smaller tweet and put two one could have tune for higher frequencies while the second a bit more modest to cover vocals and some highs that require a more round sound. That would have given this a wide range to cover in one unit a even gone from 80 watts to 85 maybe 90. That is all wishful thinking on my part. Thanks for watching, peace.

    Dude you should do your research, you can party chain up, up to 100 of these and by the way there is a second tweeter on the bottom you can't go by pictures basically the two leaders provide the stereo and then there's a big woofer in the center I know because I took mine apart, and if you don't believe that there's a second Tweeter in the bottom it's really easy to take a flashlight and shine on it you can see it you don't even have to take it apart you really should take pictures with a grain of salt I can confirm that this thing pumps out stereo sound because I use sound testing software it's definitely doing left and right channels

    Billy, you are sadly mistaken. The bottom tweeter is a dummy speaker. Put your ear to the dummy tweeter, NO SOUND! Also It's a MONO speaker... NO LEFT & RIGHT in or outputs!

BTW poolside I use 2 Anker motion+ small can fit on the pool ledge and gets loud as hell. ✌🏿
