Picked up one of these about a week ago. Really love it. I like a lot of bass in my music, and this little beast definitely delivers. Maybe not enough bass to knock the walls down, but still pretty awesome. Gets nice and loud. I don't use the lights very often, but it's a nice extra. I like the aux input too, cause I tend to use Bluetooth speakers with my tv. Battery life is pretty impressive too. Great review, love the energy that you put into your videos. Keep it up, brother.

Does this one have any actual real deep bass? like to a separate sub woofer unit, compared to? I know the trance version has some bass more which is more costly. I always find these separate combo units are lacking heavy bass and going for clarity mostly. Or any "battery" type tend to lack bass. WIsh they made them without batteries; not a fan of rechargeable.

The Soundcore Neo Rave is pretty good for the price. Portable, great battery, powerful sound comparable to/louder than other 50-60W speakers, great app. The sound is not hifi, which is quite acceptable from a party speaker. Even so, its an enjoyable sound would be great for small gatherings. It can cut across noise and works great outdoors. The bass (with bass up on) is not bloaty and great for the size and price. The mids and highs are more tuned for parties than hifi indoor listening.

I got two of them. Pairing was a little tricky but sounds so good. Bass is better than my xtreme2 or xb41. My new favorite for sure.🙌🏼

Iyare Umweni I don’t believe that it plays in stereo. Maybe they will ad that in a firmware update but even without it playing in stereo they sound amazing.

Just bought this last week as I had to return to me my ultimate ears boom 3. The boom 3 was rated to give me 16 hours of battery life and after the 3 occasions I used, it died after 7. I was upset and returned it for 120 bucks. I saw this online and thought I'd give a shot without looking at reviews as I use Anker liberty 2 pro headphones and know they make some good products and damn I love this thing. Ran for at least 8hours and I just didn't need anymore after that but the battery was only a quarter percent gone. Truly a great product from Anker and I got this one for 100 bucks.

The battery life is awesome. It can easily do 18 hrs at 35-40% volume with the lights off and bass up activated. At 80% volume it will do around 8 hrs with the above settings.

I love this energy

I recently did a review on the Neo and it's pretty darn good. The USB-A port you showed not only charges other devices, it also plays audio off a USB flash drive. The Soundcore app also has all new features for the Neo not available on the Rave mini, most notable a new custom EQ setting with 9 band EQ.

@Alberto G I have both Rave Mini and Neo and for me personally, I would opt for the Neo for the same $$. To my ears, a little better and cleaner sound quality and the EQ and light options on the Neo are really nice.

Motion+ has higher quality sound, and is half the size. The Rave Neo is much louder and has deeper and louder bass. I personally prefer the Neo.

Picked up a Rave Neo this past Friday, 3rd of July, and I have to say I was NOT impressed with the sound at first. It didn't sound right and not loud at all. The secret to great sound is using the app to configure a proper EQ. The Indoor and Outdoor settings do not sound good IMHO. Set your EQ and you'll be golden.
