    Keep in mind you do not need to keep the fridge plugged in the entire time. You can leave it closed up overnight as long as you do not get into it, wake up a couple times and plug it in just to let the compressor run a cycle and you will use only a small portion of the battery storage and the fridge will still be cool enough.

    Nice example of the need for balance between storage and charge capacity. Thank you sir

    Thank you. This is the exact unit im going to buy for the exact purpose of running my fridge during a outage. I plan on running at least 800 watts of solar.

    Your audio is so low I can't hear what you are saying on my laptop with my sound settings at 100% and YT sound settings also at 100%. Just bought my 2nd Anker 767 power station, they are really great products. I have 1000 watts of solar panels, and plan to charge one power station while using the other, and switch back and forth, or possibly set up a transfer switch that will direct the incoming solar power to either power station. I took advantage of the recent sale price for the 2nd 767.

    I just bought the 767 and trying to see how long I can run my fridge should we have an outage. I'm using 2 - 200w panels during the day and their input (365w max) barely exceeds the usage of my fridge so not charging the battery much during those times. I think the 1242w reading you have might be your defroster coil kicking in if your fridge has that feature. The compressor I don't think uses that much. I've seen mine jump from 140w to 360w I think when the compressor kicks in. I'm thinking I'll need the expansion battery AND another 400w of solar to be able to keep up with the fridge load and recharge the battery for night time usage. Good video!

    I have the Bluetti Ac200max with 1 expansion battery that I have run the same refrigerator and transfer switch. It is the same watt hours as the the Anker 767 with an expansion battery 4096wh With the ac200max I had 1100 watts of solar hooked to it. I ran that same refrigerator for a week straight with that set up. It completely charged up during the day and run all night never missed a beat. The only reason I stopped running it was I wanted to. I wanted to test it see how long I could run it like that. Also had the kitchen lights hooked to it but we didn’t just leave them on, only used them when needed. Not sure how much of a difference it would have made had I run that set up with 800 watts. The Anker invert does seem to be a little more efficient not pulling as many watts when in use. I did another video comparing the two Anker 767 and Bluetti Ac200max on same Air conditioner to see the difference and if memory serves me correctly the AC200max used 50 to 100 more watts to run it. If you look to up grade your Anker set up in the future consider us in your shopping. thanks

    yeah, you have a nice setup! I just ordered a few more xt60 cables to make setup easier. Instead of running cables 15ft to my 767 I'm going to collect my 2 200W and a future 400W together with a 1 to 3 XT60 multi-cable and then just run 1 cable to my 767 instead of 3. Would love to have 1000 w and the extension battery but think the extension with 800Ws of panels should work. @@Suncatcher-wt2od

    Hi, is the F2000 capable of solar charging at the same time that you're consuming power from it? I chatted to Anker online and they say this wasn't possible, so I'm confused... Hope you can shed some light. thanks.

    Has anyone ever tried to see if car headlights can generate power for solar panels? I was thinking that if someone in a van had them mounted in the front & back of the vehicle, they could be charging their batteries at night, while driving long distance on the highway. Does anyone know if car headlights can produce the same effect as sunlight or at least mimic it?

    Great review! Question for you though, Im thinking of a specific use case. Is it possible to have both AC charging and solar running at once? And can you leave it like that running without intervention? Im thinking even if you buy this for emergencies, it would be nice to have it plugged in and providing a few hundred watts of free power without needing any sort of permanent solution.

    On Anker you can not charge with ac and solar at the same time it will charge by ac if you have both hooked up. But you can use the ac power while you are charging it with solar. So you can keep it charged up while using it if you have enough solar hooked to it.

    You can use 1000w of solar with the 767. Most people do them in blocks of 200w each. It has a dongle that plugs into the generator with 5 slots for 200w panels totalling 1000w.

    That would depend on the size of your house. They say the average house uses 20000 watt hours a day. The Anker 767 wouldn’t come close to those type numbers. I did another video in which I ran refrigerator couple window air conditioners and several lights through out my house with no troubles with the Anker 767. So in a power down situation with an expansion battery it should do some essentials provided you have enough solar to keep it charged. That is a transfer switch that I am plugging it into. An electrician should be able to install one. They are used for when power goes out and hook to generators. Beats having to plug everting into the generator to run it. Anker is about to come out with another unit which is much larger than the 767. It will be the Anker Solix F3800. It will be expandable from 3800 watt hours all the way to 53000 watts hours and capable of producing 6000 to 12000 watts with both 120v and 220v. Now of course with a larger unit like that it will be more expensive. These aren’t out yet but should be out this month so we will get better specs and pricing once they are made Available. In the top of our comments we have a link to our online store once the Anker Solix is made available we will have it listed and of course the Anker powerhouse 767 is already listed. Hope that helps with your questions if you have any more please ask thanks.

    So is it true that you can simultaneously solar charge and consume power? I chatted with Anker, and they said that the F2000 cannot do simultaneous solar charging. I'm confused, because your video shows that you can...

  • @Suncatcher-wt2od

    @Suncatcher-wt2od

    Yes you can charge it with solar while you use the power. This is called pass through charging. But you can not charge it by solar and charge it by ac power at the same time. It will default to ac power. Meaning you will only be charging it from the ac plug. This may have been what they thought you was asking in your question. Some other brands such as Bluetti while let you charge it with both solar and ac power at the same time. They call this simultaneously charging.

    $1799 to run a refrigerator for 12 hours. Wow, think I'll stick with my champion inverter generator, 20 hours on 4 gallons of gas. Looks like you need something with a 5k battery. Great video!
