Awesome. Glad to be of service.
Ordered mine from Anker, with the charge deck coming from Amazon. 😊
Finally got it myself as well. Thank you for showing me what it can do :p
I just ordered one of these a few days ago and was waiting for a good review to be posted and this showed up this morning

There are good reviews of this more than 6 months prior to this one, though...
Great video. Love the chance to see the power bank being updated. Can’t wait to get mine.
I bought this one and love it. I also use it for my Quest 2
I love mine. I haven’t had any issues with it so far. I still need the charging base

I love the base, idk of you have got it yet, but I was surprised you could use the battery screen as a clock display.
I just learned something new if you keep cycling through the power bank screen eventually the eyes would show up so cool found out accidentally

This power bank can actually charge at 170W if you use both USB C ports at the same time

What charger plugs do you have to use to do this? I had it on the 100w base and also added two usb-c wires connected to two 20w plugs and was charging it at 140w. Can you use any combination of power to charge it. In the write up it says you need to use a 140w charger and 2 usb c leads to achieve this. Does it not mean you need two charger plugs as well as you can’t charge a 170w from a 140w plug? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Went out and bagged myself one of these bad boyz. This power bank is a game changer especially with the ability to upgrade firmware that manages the power distribution. What a quality product. It impressed me so much that i bought a couple of the Anker 30w nano power banks and I get about 2 charges out of that for my IPhone 15PM. Totally awesome devices wow 🤩 ❤🎉
I’ve got this powerbank yesterday I’ve charge the powerbank on both USC C almost 170W input by using single powerbrick the Chargeasap 270W Zeus Gan charger.
@wwjoshdew

That’s awesome!
12:53 My guess is that the input optimized charging only charges the powerbank to say 50%, for example, between MN and 5AM when set to MN-6AM, then charges it from 50% to 100% from 5AM to 6AM so it's ready to go at your 6AM wake-up time. This prevents the powerbank from holding a 100% charge throughout the night while you are sleeping in order to increase the battery lifespan. It does the same thing with output charging to help preserve the battery in your cellphone.
Thanks for this, I bought one plus the desk charger which is fast enough for me! It almost went back as dead on arrival though since I could not get an initial charge into it. I eventually tried with a cable connection to the desk charger and it sprang to life. Seems like it depends on having some power in the battery in order to command the desk charger to deliver power on the spring pins. Also I almost did not buy because the spec says it only gives 1.5A at 12V, which is odd because at 9V and 15V it is rated to 3A. But pleasant surprise, when I tested it using a 12V decoy cable and an electronic load, it was quite happy delivering 3A at 12V! Then I tried my TS80P PD soldering iron. This has been hit and miss in the past: a lot of PD power supplies do not support 12V and of those that do, many would not do so for the TS80P falling back to 9V (and slow heating times). I was pleased to find the iron works nicely with the power bank, reporting it is getting 12V and nearly 30W (2.5A). But the display on the bank and the app both show C1 delivering power, but 0A, 0W! The iron is definitely hot though so it is getting power from somewhere!

You can also set a port to only input or output.
Can you please change the Anker 548 with the solar panel fully please and thank you
Your able to the change the port status on C1 to input or out output only .. idk if this was just and update
I just ordered the gold one
How many charges can you get when charging your iPhone 15 pro max?
Wow its a great video 👍
What is the best option to recharge the power bank to keep the battery in good condition 100w or 140w to recharge?
I have the 20,000 mah model and I love it even though it has no bluetooth
If you go to Port Status under Settings you can set USB-C1 to input, output, or input/output. One quirk I found was that even when it says 100% full while charging it pulls another 20Wh+ after from the charger as measured with a ChargerLab KM003C. Meanwhile it's not showing any input at all. Its temperature remains high and Cumulative Usage Data - Input Power still increments. Sneaky sneaky! I'm guessing it shows full at roughly 80%. Thing is it doesn't trickle charge once it says 100% either but goes full bore as it did before. So if you really want to ensure that it's done charging leave it on the charger for an extra 20min or so. Why Anker did this I have no clue.
hey josh my 13 pro max is charging at 7watts. my earbods and airpods both also charging at 2watts. my earbuds can be charged with the 140w cable and still doing very low i even have trickle charge off i dont know what to do.
Just got mine, they have a great deal with the base, mine came dead...so not happy about that,, a power bank should never be at 0....
It doesn’t seem to charge if you use the 250 watt charger and put into the 150 watt port.
I bought this powebank and its the best powebank ive bough but c port support 2.0 fast charging and the app cant beat this powebank
Link to that basus charger?
Dumb question probably but is a 25watt charger too small to charge the power bank?
Man i wish Anker would make this but with double the capacity. I dunno if they are worried about making too much of a brick. Or bad press causing an incident on a plane etc. But i just think its kind of pointless having that high an output for such a low capacity. Like you wouldnt even be able to fully charge a 16" MBP (99WH battery) with this. Plus you will knacker the battery either draining it to 0% all the time. Or even just high charge/discharge rates. Should be 200-300WH IMO.

Actually now i think about it. The electronics from this. With the lipofe4 battery from the power core reserve would be amazing. You get so much battery cycle life with lipofe4 compared to normal NMC
@adriftatlas
3 ай бұрын
@@TheColinputer The airlines limit batteries to 100Wh. That's why nearly every single battery in a device is limited to 100Wh. While it won't fully charge a MBP 16" it will get it to at least 80% from empty. A newer Apple Silicon MBP 16" will gain an entire workday of use. NMC is used in most power banks because it has a higher energy density than LiFePO4. Weight is more important than longevity in this application.
Is this system future proof?
can that powerbank charge a steamdeck
These things are getting so cool I miss when things were more "Tech" if you know what I'm saying
Well now they did an update which lets you control what the c1 port does ! Now u can set the first port for only input or output !

In my testing I was able to pull 90.6Wh as measured with a ChargerLab KM003C charging my MacBook Pro M1 Max 16" at roughly 126W.
It will charge at full 170W when it reaches 55%
They need to give it 3 usb c ports
The battery isn't very large tho
I whanted to buy it but on recharging the temp reach 40C so no thank u , i bought 737 first gen
