Really good review Qasim, good job! Love that you put the tested phones in the title, makes a huge difference. Was looking at buying this, but seeing the overhang on the 13 mini is really a deal breaker. Looks like I have to wait for a deal on the offical one, or see if anything else comes up. @TheApexDoctor - Thank you I really appreciate the feedback! The 13 mini and pro are always the testers for me plus not a lot of people bother looking at accessories for the mini so it helps. The official one is definitely my choice and right now it’s $10 cheaper on Amazon. I also did a video showing it as a car charger which really shows it’s versatility so check that out if you’d like. @@QasimZafar Yeah! Really an underrated phone. Wish I could find more magsafe accessories that fit the mini well. I have the moft wallet, and it was literally made for this, it fit incredibly well. Got my eye on the magsafe battery pack from apple, but the price is waay out there, not something I think worth investing in for that price. If you do find anything interesting for the 13 mini, do post, I'll be looking out for the video!

@TheApexDoctor - Yeah it truly is, I love the compact size. For wallet I’ve got the apple one and I’m happy with it and I’ve also got the MagSafe battery pack. I also use my own product which is a kickstand/grip for when I watch videos. There’s a few more battery packs that I’m checking out so I will definitely be posting soon as I have a good testing on them.

Just upgraded from the XS to a 13 Mini, so bought this for when I’m out and about, and to trigger standby mode when I’m home. I’d originally got a battery bank more like Apple’s own, but returned it in favour of this much more useful one. Thanks for the content.

@@QasimZafar I think Apple's work in software is not appreciated enough. Other review only care about the hardware numbers, saying apple battery is bad because it's small. But they rarely mention that iphone can drain battery pack first because they integrate with the ios system, and help protect battery life. I never saw other product can do this.

@chester0608ye - Yes I agree with you and also you have to remember Apple doesn’t pay or give out commissions to promote the product either. I’ve used it with my 13 mini so much and it’s still going…definitely a contributing factor as to why I still have 90% health on my minis battery.

Could you please tell me if you can see the charger’s indicator lights at the bottom of the fabric cover/flap? I can see them in my unit and I’m just wondering if this is normal. Also the magnetic bit of the cover only seems to be magnetic right in the edge near the bit where you open it from the top (hope that makes sense), is that the same on your unit?

Yes both are same on my unit.

Anker 622 upgrade version is not heating up! So that’s a good thang!!! The first version was definitely heating up

Is the Apple MagSafe battery pack smart enough to not kill itself if it’s left plugged in for long periods of time? Weeks? Months? Thinking to use it mostly as a dock and occasional taking it with me when needed. Also is the Apple MagSafe pack serviceable?

@@QasimZafar Just received it and played around with it for a bit on a mini iPhone. I like the build quality and integration w iOS. Quite hefty feeling and cannot imagine carrying anything heavier. I like that it can be rotated on the phone securely. Acts as phone handle for photo taking or different ergonomics when typing. Also if positioned upside down it still fits in the mini footprint and acts as a camera cover. It makes a click sound being attached. Is it coming from the battery or the phone. Can’t tell. Anyways, for a bit more money, I am happy w the Apple quality on this one.

This would be good if you're going out on a boat or going to be hunting in the woods or staying at a remote camp far from others for some days. Am I correct?

@Delwo Athauda - Since you have a 12 pro max and battery life isn’t as big of an issue with that phone I’d recommend you go for a powerbank instead. You’ll be able to plug up and also go with a larger capacity. Instead of this I’d recommend their power core 5k which is smaller, more portable and comes in cheaper that this one. @@QasimZafar oh I see but I don't like those ring finger thing actually, hopefully there's something like a thin case for it where you have a rectangle bar to pop up and you can adjust the angle however you want with it, maybe you can look into it and put it as your product someday and it will be a bit and make it better combination than third party battery pack!

@igor Frajfeld - I use the battery pack as my car charger so I’ve attached a metal plate to the back of it so that way I can mount it to my car mount. hey man, do you happen to have access to an Android smartphone? preferably the Google Pixel 6 Pro because I wanted to ask you if you could quickly test the charging with one I've bought the 622 and especially the Moment (M)Force case for my P6P and am very disappointed with the charging speed of only about 300 mA at 4 Volts - so about 1.2 Watts instead of 7.5 which is advertised and should ve possible because it is based on the Qi wireless standard and not official MagSafe you would do me a huge favour by testing it out real quick and I would be so thankful to be able to find out if only I got a bad device or if it really doesn't work with other phones besides the iPhone 🤔

To charge it back up is extremely slow :(
