My sister loved Anita Baker. She would sing and sound just like her, hitting those high notes. She passed November 13, 2016 and I miss her so much! I can barely listen to Anita’s songs. Love you Aretha forever ❤️

Lol.. I am with you. I am on the other side of this though. It was a dream come true for yours truly when I finally saw Queen Anita live in concert twice last year during her farewell tour!! It was incredible!! Now. I have to see Sade live at some point soon and my bucket list will be complete!!

This lady was a huge part of my life growing up with six sister's. I am like back in time feeling the moment. I love me some Anita Baker. they don't make this type of good music anymore!

7 sisters... I am the youngest... And the only boy... Anita Baker set the mood and energy in my household for many years... My mother would play her to bring her spirits up... So thankful for the memories we shared in that era in time...💯💯💯

Absolutely amazing performance. It brought tears to my eyes. Anita is one of my all time favorite singers. Her songs are timeless and her voice is lovely and unique.

This woman is so damn sincere. This one gets me in the bottom of my stomach, and then the tears start rolling down. So so beautiful.

This little Lady and Lalah Hathaway have two of the deepest voices in the musical world and they're both beautiful to sit and listen to.

I'm from Chile... maybe the last place in the world to ever find a fan for Anita Baker, still... I'm here. Letting everybody know that she is worldwide recognized and loved. Her music is like coming home every time.. a place in the sunlight, a sweet morning, a lovely dawn.. but most of all.. (for me, and maybe.. hopefully for some more..) the promise of TRUE LOVE.. hard to find, hardest to recognize, but so close to imagine... some of us don't look for less.

She sounds so good her range is incredible

Sarah Vaughan was Anita's idol, as she stated in many interviews. You can definitely hear Sarah's influence with her vocals! Anita is is for sure one of the greatest and most unique vocalists ever!!
