Yeah, it was scary to see that sure he may have been a bad man whose own sins have had bad consequences for him in the end but I still think that him being dragged unwillingly to his death into the portal to the other side was a bit way too harsh. But then again, those loa mask demons did warn him constantly of his deeds, and he didn't feed them enough souls like how they wanted him to so.. yeah, Facilier's death was his own fault, and he has got nobody else to blame but himself for this. I did pity his shadow demon self poor Shadow was also dragged through the portal along with him too to the other side. So they both died.

I know that Pete is usually the villain when it comes to these Mickey and Friends movies and shorts but this is really not one of those cases. In fact, it's basically one of the few if not the only time that Pete wasn't a villain. Sure, he wasn't a saint but throughout most of the movie, Pete was only giving Goofy some advice when it comes to parenting and and he did try to warn Goofy about Max changing the map on him.
