And seeing how DC's movies are also struggling, I could imagine this show making yet another episode like "Let's Get Serious" that also attacks critics of the DC movies who don't like that they're "too dark." It'd be even better if it were directed by Zack Snyder, had his signature slow-motion and all-gray palette, and a fight between Beast Boy and Cyborg that ended with one of them saying "Martha!"

Rarest 123 first off it was sarcasm, and second you're damn right I'm going to get mad at the kid show especially when that kid show is literally at least treated like it an extension of a show I grew up watching, teen titans had good writing interesting and changing characters and villains that made you honestly wonder how the heroes were supposed to be these guys. Replaced with every word is waffle, fun time in the bathroom, and real estate advice episodes, and don't give me that tripe about it's a kid show, A lot of the really good shows are not the turn off your brain cartoons the interesting character dynamics and most importantly smart writing!

The fact they did not one or just two but FOUR EPISODES on this thing really seems immature not to mention its not even subtle and I get its supposed to follow the flow and nature for the show however its not even the right way to do it. Ttg has had only a few good episodes out of most of their pandering and so called ''parodying " of themselves and other cartoons. At least with Spongebob I can look at a great number of good and memorable episodes that out way most of the annoying ones.

No, Robin and the rest of the Teen Titans were absolutely right that how they were in Teen Titans is more fascinating than how they were in (the majority of, not ALL of since I did find some good episodes in that show) its sequel Teen Titans GO!. It's just that because of the writing and execution of the TTG episode Fourth Wall, Teen Titans GO! became so bad to the point where it was literally insulting Teen Titans! and also valid critics like Tay-Tay in her "Mean" song.

The world starts deconstructing around them, the characters hang their heads in shame, and accept their fate as they walk off into the sunset, eventually ending with the creators finishing the final frame of animation, packing up their things, and walking out of the studio, leaving the world a bit better place. How it will end: The (creators) characters boast about how popular they are, showing off all the things they have planned, baiting kids to tune in when in actuality this is the final episode. It just makes logical sense.

Seriously Griffer Doodle and Gamecade? Cartoon Network is obsessed with the show so the don't like then don't watch argument doesn't work here, on Easter there was nothing else to watch but Toddler Titans No and the "it's for kids" argument is no excuse for bad quality. So please make your arguments out of something other than straw.

"Our show is popular" No your show is over exposed because the network realized they could use it to sell toys and decided to jam it into every time slot. Its no wonder your show gets high ratings when its in almost every time slot. Now your "popular" show is starting to seep into the productions of other shows on the network and has oversaturated the entire channel with comedies So congratulations TTG creators. You successfully created a cancer cell in the form of a cartoon and single handily brought an end of the animation renaissance that Adventure Time started and started another downward spiral for the network. Hope all that popularity and toy sells were worth it

I remember back in 2014, Teen Titans Go only had a couple time slots during the day. I remember on weekends it would air from 9:30 to 10:30 or something like that during the DC Nation block, and then it would air from 2:00 to 3:00. I watched it and enjoyed it, most of the time. I don't hate the show, but it DOES get a little too much air time.

I'm going to break this down for you. Teen Titans Go is trying to be South Park. That's what they're doing. The issue is that you can't have something as edgy as that on CN so they're trying to be an edgeless, kid friendly version of South Park and in doing so completely miss the point of what makes South Park actually work. People speak out against South Park and the creators find a way to make an answer to that in the form of an episode. Go tries to do this and fails every time to the point where the show is basically KZread's dark comment section at this point.

Great critique as always Mr. Enter. You made very valid points, including (but not limited to): - TTG! should never actually try to teach morals because they're bad at it - When TTG! has 'attack-the-critics' episodes, the writers should have some sort of an actual critique to argue against - the writers of TTG! are possibly 'nostalgia-blind' (as you brilliantly put it) - 'Finally a Lesson' sucked because it went out of its way to be boring about 90% of the time, knew it was going out of its way to be boring about 90% of the time, and did it anyway

Max the Panther What's wrong with Steven Universe? The animation gets better with each season, the songs are pretty good, the character development and world building is good. I understand different opinions but I'm curious as to why don't like SU. I can understand not liking Adventure Time, it might be too crazy for some people, but I enjoy it.

They've also been playing nothing but The Amazing World of Gumball all weekend this week. While it is a MUCH better show than TTG could ever hope to be, it's still a pretty bad business move, as CN's other shows aren't getting any screen time. Oh well, I guess. I'll take it over TTG on loop any day.

If you want my opinion on it, I'd say we "let" the show wear out. The show itself is repetitive as it is, so if they constantly repeat a repetitive show, even the kids that like it will realize how boring and stupid it is. In a way, it's probably a "good" thing that this is the most commonly aired show.

Warghost890 Basically the Marvel Universe chibified and comical. They had their moments though where they buckled down and the heroes actually did serious things in serious situations despite the silly nature of the show. But the seriousness fit into the tone of the show because of the subtle transitions between comedy and action. Also the theme song is catchy as all hell

Facts.

After the Original Teen Titans show: I started going to the comic book store more often. I bought some of the older Teen Titan comic issues. Cyborg is considered to be 19 years of age. So out of technicalities: Cyborg is the owner of the property. But that's stretching a lot of peoples' suspension of disbelief. Probably mine more than others....

Plus in the original show: Cyborg was able to build the T-Car with his cybernetics and his wits. He is also clearly allowed to drive and carry underage passengers. When the crew behind Avatar: The Last Airbender learned about their criticisms, they made "Ember Island Players" (I release a sonic wave from my mouth). When the crew behind Steven Universe learned about their criticisms, they made everyone over-the-top in a comedic way in the episode "Say Uncle". When the crew behind Teen Titans Go learned about their criticisms, they taught us about smart investment decision and mocked their haters. I thought TTG show was harmless enough until it started attacking critics. The only way they could make it more insulting is if they had caricatures of their most prominent critics and turned them into villains. Also the more I think about it, the more it seems like TTG was created by Amy and Samy of Amy's Baking Company. They couldn't handle criticisms in the kitchen, now they've turned to animation to bad-mouth anyone who dares not love them whole-heartedly.

I feel like what makes other parody episodes good but this one bad is how it treats it's fans. TTG completely left it's fans to rot with episodes like these and basically robbed them of an episode just so they could go "na na na na na" at critics, whereas, for example, Ember Island Players provided a fun episode for fans and critics alike to enjoy and gave plenty of inside jokes and meta humour, as well as a nice and well earned break from all the dark plot stuff right before the finale. The real difference is respect for the audience

The creators behind Legend of Korra weren’t afraid to poke fun at failed storylines, with the season 4 episode where among other things various characters pointed out that Mako was terrible in relationships (this was a budget episode as well, and could have been pointless filler).

Honestly, CN should've seen the red flags that the show was a dead horse when they made "reaction episodes" towards critics. 3 times, but now a 4th time being this! I mean come on! At least bring back good shows that are decent to both audiences, namely children and adults. I mean, didn't you guys prided yourselves for appeasing both of those said audiences? To be fair, I would put some money on at least a healthy dent in the show are the following: 1. Ironic viewers (occasionally me) 2. Fans of the old show who watch it out of hope they'll make a good episode like the old one, only to be disappointed and watch it again with the same, steadily lowering (used to be me) 3. People have it as a guilty pleasure (also used to be me)

For example, Anita's response to bad critics is mainly to detach herself emotionally and mostly focus on the things she believes from an academic point of view, that way people can't take her out of context as overly emotional, and instead kind of have to engage with her actual beliefs, be they right or wrong. Whether that works or not is anyone's guess, but either way it's unobtrusive and not obnoxious, and it definitely doesn't make people hate her more.

Did a bit of research on the show and apparently it is directed by a bunch of no-name hacks who work on shows that always have a "That one" episode. Now, I'm not saying the directors of the show are poison. I'm just saying so far there's a trend in shows having a single bad episode before this show appeared, and people who had a hand in such episodes are now working in a cabal on this show.

@@pixel5708 I honestly think that episode is overrated. It's a style-over-substance episode.

So are "episodes that whine about criticism in the most immature way possible" just going to be a genre on TTG now? Something that the people who work on this show don't realize is that EVERYTHING gets criticized, no matter how good or acceptable that thing is. The best shows and works of fiction will still get criticism no matter what. The best way to deal with it is to improve on your work based on the constructive criticism and ignore destructive criticism. That's what any decent person would do. But nope, the writers of this show just had to act like immature brats and make entire episodes which are just them sticking their fingers in their ears going "La la la we can't hear you." to the critics. Don't they realize this is only making them look worse? It shows that they're sensitive little babies who can't handle some criticism or some hate. There's nothing wrong with some cartoons poking fun at criticism now and then, but most good cartoons just dedicate a minute or so of an episode just for that, because they actually have stories to tell and characters to develope. This shows how little the writers care about their show if they willingly dedicate entire episodes just to whine about criticism.

Its not so much theyre eating it up, its the only thing thats really on when theyre home from school. So in CN's eyes, it's successful, and only in the short term. Eventually I think once those kids get old enough you'll see a huge drop in viewership, CN will probably panic, and do some more stupid shit that fucks everyone over.

Never. Compared to actually good content, TTG is cheap and easy. And CN, like all corporations, works based on supply and demand. The demand is for this easy, brainless crap, so that's what they'll keep doing. From their point of view, why would they make something amazing like Young Justice when you could just whip up half a season of TTG in 6 hours with a budget consisting of some kid's lunch money and be just as successful?

The man reason Cartoon Network isn't going to get rid of Teen Titans GO is because it's the highest rated show on the network and makes them a lot of money. If they were to cancel it now, they would loose all that money and possibly go out of business.

You wanna know what's really sad? They're actually going to air another fucking marathon on MLK Jr Day this Monday on the SAME DAY *Regular Show Series Finale* is airing. They're not even marathoning RS This just shows how little they care about other shows because their using holidays when kids are out to get stupid ratings

In general the "It's a kid's show." defense doesn't work because there is actually well written kid shows like Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, Star Vs. The Forces Of Evil, and many other shows. Using the kid's show defense is just a way for someone to say "All little kids are stupid. They'll like anything, so why even bother putting in any effort?" . That's why I get annoyed when idiots use that excuse for the reason why a show, especially this one, sucks.

Vidya Bros. I agree. The problem is that they're completely forsaking their audience (children) for the sake of ribbing someone who their show isn't for. If someone outside of the target audience watches the show then why would they patronize them with an episode like this? They're attacking a small portion of their fanbase while completely disregarding a large portion of it. How is anyone in the fanbase supposed to like this?

What sucks is that the show actually DID have a moral, about lying back in season one. So how can anyone complain about there being no morals.

Eventually they are gonna make a episode where a new "villain" team is introduced called the critics. It will probably be lead by a "villain" named the anonymous dr anter.

the '70 didn't know better. the medium gained notoriety, televisions became common, family came togheder after hard work days to watch show the 2000 had a block of average shows, some realy good ones, older shows that got stretched out, and an overflow of crap. and CN back then used to rotate the cartoons. in (litterally) todays schedule there are 4 hours and 20 minutes of TTG (plus commercial)

One of these days, these hacks are more than likely going to do something similar to showing a jar of mayonnaise for 10 minutes. Why not? It's obvious they don't care what they produce. Why not just go all the way with it?

It's funny how they try to convince everybody that they're diffrent from the original. If not for the original, they wouldn't even be around. All they do is either taunt the original show or rebel against the original show. Either way, they're still dependant.

As I am writing this, TTG has 356 episodes, I’m scared

This is the first episode of Mr Enter that I've seen where he has an avatar and background art and stuff, and I gotta' say, I really dig it. The design of the avatar is simple but it works so well both thanks to who it's an avatar of as well as the shading/lighting in the colouration. And it's so expressive despite its only facial feature being eyes! That in itself is just really impressive, kudos to the artist who created all the different poses and expressions for that avatar. Altogether, the avatar really serves to help 'wet down' what used to be, for the most part, a guy's voice delivering dry commentary in majority, which had already been pretty strong despite that dryness. I couldn't look away.

Critics: "You're shit" TTG writers: "oh? We'll show you shit!"

If they ever make an episode that's just a response to the general criticism that this show is shit, it'll probably just be Beast Boy & Cyborg playing with shit for 11 minutes & it'll be called Poop Games. I hope they never do an episode responding to criticisms about this show turning Cyborg into a racial stereotype.

The reason the original "The Powerpuff Girls" was made was so it could be a parody of superheroes where their actions actually do have consequences whether it is scolding the girls or actually being demonized for causing more harm than good like in "The Powerpuff Girls Movie." I love it.

This episode is the equivalent of someone willingly cutting themself and yelling at the people around saying, “Stop making me cut myself!”

Wanna know another crappy episode, looking back? Operation Dude Rescue. It's where Robin, Beast Boy, and Cyborg get trapped in Brain's lair and Starfire and Raven agree to save them. They even go out of their way to get other girl companions to help, like Terra and Jinx. It's even a two part episode. How does it end? The boys SHOO all the girls away because they want to use "chivalry" to get themselves out, by using random time machine gimmicks to spawn new and old variants of themselves to push the button to free them (and it all fails). So the girls leave them to get milkshakes and the whole two-part episode was literally pointless, because the main plot wasn't solved.

They had an episode which was an 11 dub of the original series (this isn't a request, I just want to make sure people are as pissed as I am about this this)

*wriggles uncomfortably* I'm sorry, I gotta nitpick here. It's a funny joke but you gotta realize the context. This is pre-Teen Titans Starfire. This is Angry Alien Warrior Starfire's that's pissed cause she was made to be a slave and wants to destroy everything. The entire episode, she's played as intimidating and scary (while carefully sidestepping the fact that there were probably people in those buildings she blasted). She ain't a moral hypocrite, she's just fucking angry and has no obligation to care about Earth by this point. When she becomes a Titan, even when she's just behind Raven in terms of raw volatile power, she's much more chill, because she has a family and a cute boy that wears tights.

Return of slade is extra insulting especially since deathstroke the terminator (slade Wilson) is one of my favorite characters.

steven universe, miraculous, regular show, amazing world of gumball, and shows like gravity falls I believe all every now and then taught lessons. Something like when Mable tries to be serious could be an episode trying to teach kids to be them self no matter what people think. And they are all shows some people ranging between adult, Teen, and Kids enjoy! Sometimes I'll watch these shows and my grandma will watch the with me. Seriously Teen Titans Go, I can't go one day without watching one of your episodes in the morning cause i have nothing else to watch. And might I say that I have never been so bored in my life...
