GLAZING INFO FOR THIS VIDEO:
ZEBRA: Ann's White Liner Glaze, no glaze on black stripes, Black glaze inside pot. Cone 5.
ELEPHANT: Black Spectrum Majolica on ears, Black Underglaze washed in cracks of trunk (no other glaze), Sapphire glaze over black glaze on ears.
SNAKE SKIN DISH: Ann's White Liner glaze in the cracks, Black glaze on side, Skin pattern covered with Amaco C-11 Clear.

    Love the ideas, colour combos and the use of product, name escapes me, enabling you to crackle the 'skin's texture. If I had to pick just 1 it would have to be the Zebra love to watch your channel as your art work on top of anything you make is just beautiful. Thank you for sharing

    Splendid! It's so beautiful when your painting expertise shows up (specifically adding the baby blue to desaturate). It's always a great reminder to never run on autopilot. I think the snake skin texture would be really neat under maybe some drippy celadon combos.

    the sodium silicate dries out a thin layer of the top part of the clay so that when you stretch the clay, the top layer cracks. Give it a try. It is fun. Thanks for watching!

    I did on these - you dont have to but it gives it a nice finish. It also helps to make it food safe if you glaze where any food might touch. Thanks!
