Hey Jackie!!! Im glad you liked it!! I used to think that stencils were a very straightforward one dimensional type of decorating, but that is not the case at all 🙂. You can be very creative with how you use them. I bet you can think of a lot more too.

The latex mould layering idea certainly sparks some creativity into me! Thank you again, Ann! 🙂

Not sure I understand the question - there are lots of available stencils (Michaels etc) that you can apply via sprayed glaze to fired pieces...and you can spray underglaze over stencils to greenware pieces.

Hi Susan. That is liquid latex rubber. I purchased it a while back, I think at my local Michaels store. People use it to make small molds with. It was perfect for that project.

You are incredibly creative! How can I make this type of stencil design from clay and affix it all over liquor glass bottles to change its look? Would you mind trying one?

Hi Dianna. I just focused on the stencils in this video and thought the construction of the pieces would have made for a very long video, haha. Do you have a piece that you were interested in seeing. It would be fun to do a video of the construction.

Can you show an example of making the lid for this piece.

The stencils I used are ones I have collected over the years but probably purchased most of them at Michaels. There are no templates for the actual forms on this video HOWEVER in the description for the video we just launched today you will find a link to the "Lemon Wedge" piece here: imgur.com/a/EJP6Ira Would love to see your version!
