I had an elderly dog that everyone kept telling me ‘it was time’. I just didn’t feel like Nikki was ready and it was just tearing me up not knowing what to do. I made an appointment with an animal communicator, Marla. The day of the appt. I told Nikki she had to say something to let me know it was her. I told Marla the questions I had & she said she would ask Nikki. After a couple mins she said Nikki refused to answer questions until she sang a song to me and she began to sing ‘I love my mommy’ over & over. No one else in the world knew that I would sing to Nikki everyday ‘ I love my Nikki, I love my Nikki’. She was with me another 3 years. The day she left we had the best going away party with chick Fil-a nuggets galore.

Here is a short-cut. My Vet says that “ it is time “ when they stop eating and drinking water. That this is the natural way their bodies shut down. When you think about it, this is how we humans do, too. So, personally, I would never invite a spirit in to commune with an animal OR a person. NOT if you are a Christian, that is !

@@carolcole570 Here's a shortcut for you Carol and Kasey. Since you ladies are such fine upstanding Christians I am sure you are familiar with John 8:7-- 'let he that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone'. And then there is Matthew 6:1--“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.' But its all good. Most people know that those that try to seem the most righteous have the most to hide. That's why they constantly point fingers at others--trying to deflect people's attention from their own behaviors. You have a blessed day.

Carol and Kasey, How “Christian” of you to be pious and try to shame shame another. If you knew your “Bible” history you would know that Jesus -real name Jesua- taught his disciples intuition, magic and energy healing😮! The didn’t go to hell. Oh and did you know that Constantine had his buddies change the Bible so that it wouldn’t reference the truth about how powerful people were so that he could enslave them and they would lose the ability to heal and know the truths and magic Jesua taught them? No, because you listen to the charismatic “magician” at your church who only wants to enslave you and open your wallets to him/her. Please wake up before it’s too late for you! ❤

Also for those of you who are devout Christian, if you aren’t that’s okay, whatever you believe, see how this might mesh with what you believe. Many people have told me they didn’t believe your pets would be in heaven with you when you get there. I disagree. There were plenty of animals in the garden of Eden. So apparently God wanted them there. I think they will be there in our 6:39 afterlife. They just don’t have to go through the judgement. I surely hope hope so! Lydia, I have two beautiful Doberman \ children. I’ve never been taught, but I’ve always had a way of communicating with animals. These two are extremely emotional, and bossy. We absolutely love them, both my husband and I are totally entertained everyday. I talk to them like they’re around a six year old child, and I’m convinced they understand. My female will even close her eyes and not look at us if she’s upset about something and not wanting to talk about it. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m so glad word is out how truly intelligent dogs are and they do communicate at a deeper level with us humans.

@@sheilagilleland4312 I do the same thing! My service dog just seems to understand what I’m saying to him, and it’s clear from his cues and responses. I was in an accident in 2003 but was studying to be an early childhood teacher. I had already been teaching through college in private schools and as part of my coursework in public schools. I also routine watched people’s children since I was 11. It just makes sense to speak to a dog kind of like a child being that they have the mindset of a child (my boy acts like an extremely intelligent, well behaved, mature child who occasionally has his moments lol) - there’s different vocal pitches, physical cues, etc coming from me as I speak. I also use cues that dogs use with each other such as play bumping and patting, admonishing him like his mom likely did when he was a puppy (the service dog school taught us how to achieve this for various levels of infractions from really minor to totally overstepping a major bound), etc. His responses make sense each time. And this isn’t even counting his obedience and task commands for being a service dog - he knows well over 250 commands, and he’s able to demonstrate critical thinking skills such as knowing what to do in various emergencies even when he wasn’t technical taught something and has to make a decision. He’s not a robot and may goof sometimes, but it proves just how easy it is to communicate mutually when you learn about each other.

To Leann: animals have come into my life as if they knew...they chose me whether thru circumstance or luck..I think Serendipity. It was as though they KNEW "here is help..here's home." Some stayed for years and some took what aid was needed and moved on. I always felt their attachment. The way they adopted me and showed affection...it filled my heart. Rocky, a Pyrenees, was most recent. He had owners (neighbors) but he took up residence with me, a senior. He'd walk my husband, infirm, to and from the mailbox. One day, while I was gardening, I sat on the ground just to watch him snoozing several yards away. All of a sudden he was there, his chin resting on the top of my head in 'protect' mode. No doubt in my mind that if I'd had fallen Rocky would have helped me. I believe all animals communicate with us. They warn, save, guard and ask for help. Mostly they give love, don't they.

I do a form of bodywork on horses that works on their nervous systems and so you have to stay really tuned into the horse and it always amazes me how well they communicate back to me. Same with the dogs. Today I was going to get a horse out of a field who was grazing with some other horses and I had visualized the mare stopping and coming around to me without any visual coaxing. She did.

I have a funny example of animal communication (and don't tell many people afraid people might think I'm crazy). This example is with my past cat CC. He was out on my screened patio (note: there was a small hole I discovered later at the back corner of it), and one night he brought me a present and laid on the kitchen floor...a frog. I thought it was dead since it was on it's back, I tapped it, it flipped over and started hopping...and went under the utility cart. The communication part: I looked right into CC's eyes and thought and said aloud "go around the back of the cart and chase the frog out, I will catch it in the front." He did EXACTLY this and went around the back , swatted under the cart and I caught the frog in a container.😁

Like I stated I kept working with her so I can speak to her and she can respond. I feel soo blessed. I've worked on a few other dogs to see if they do the same. It's soo fascinating.

I wish there were more vets like you, with awareness, compassion and understanding. The hospital that paralyzed my dog and gave him nosocomial superbugs has a message that plays on repeat during the long hold when calling their number. It says "your pets can't tell you what's wrong..." They can, in many ways. That was another indication to me that they don't value the life or experiences of the animals whom they were supposed to help to get well. I was taught that images go through the third eye, thoughts go through the crown and feelings through the heart.

I'm so sorry for your pup and that the vet caused harm instead of healing. That is so hard. In case you're blaming yourself at all, it's not your fault for taking them there. You had every reason to expect and believe they would help. They are the ones that failed. You'd really think that spending so much time around animals, more vets would learn something about being present, aware and kind, since these are things animals are so good at and excellent teachers of, when we have the humility to listen and treat them as intelligent beings.

Working in a Vet clinic setting over 10 years now I can tell you its ramped up my psychic abilities to the point of almost being scary! I cant make this up! This world has multiple worlds existing at once and the world of animals taught me Reiki and Telepathy as well as being a catalyst for my Spiritual Awakening! The beauty of animals, its wordless its the unconditional love that is such a powerful force that cant be out-powered. I never forget to acknowledge how animals embody such a divinity, reflecting back to us so much love. They also carry their human's baggage or trapped emotions dogs transmute so much negative energy its amazing how they work with mother nature to stomp it off back into the Earrh whom also transmutes energy. We are all connected far beyond the 2 eyeballs we think is telling us the truth but its the BIGGEST LIE to ever think animals dont feel or have a soul they are part of you so what does that say about a human if they reject the witnessing of devotion ignoring a pet is the most harmful thing imaginable which can make them sick! im shocked more people cant admit or see this. Animals are such a gift!

We are ALL able to speak to our animals… we are all psychic, we are all born that way, but it is conditioned out of us by society, the education system, etc. Meditation is the first step. You may think you hear your animal say something… if you think you have, trust it and believe it, always trust your first impression, because that’s the truth, it’s real. The biggest thing to remember is to get out of your own way, ie dont try to think logically about it, whatever first comes into your head will be what the animal’s saying, as weird as it might be. Trust in it.

Working on animals is exactly the same as working on humans. Our systems work the same way and they experience, feel, and process a full range of emotions just as we do. They are as we are- fully sentient souls in a body. It breaks my heart to see them taken for granted and mistreated based on the assumption that they don't feel the same way we do. You need to only send the message as if you were seeing what the dog would see doing the action, no words, only images. And you need to look at the dog in the 3rd eye. DO NOT DO THAT WITH A UNKNOWN DOG... Please look at Dr. Joel Dehasse DMV work.

Hi Dr. Jones, Very glad you have started this series. I have had lots of dogs and used to volunteer at various Animal Shelters in my area. I have always been interested in Intelligence and communication in animals. A few years back I adopted a dog (who by the way looks a lot like your Louis.} He came with the name cowboy which I didn’t change. After awhile I noticed that when he barked I would get a thought in my head. It was like I new what he was saying. Also I noticed that when I walked into the area where he was at, he would say “Ra-Ruu”. And he would do it all the time when I was with him. But if I was watching him and he didn’t know it it wouldn’t do it. He would add different inflections or emotions to it. After about 6 months of it I realized that it was a name he made up for me. He would use it primarily if he wanted something like food or wanted to go out. I decided to try and teach him some words. He learned Go, Go out, Want Out, Hungry, Cookie and others that I cant recall at the moment. He doesn’t say them unless he needs to. If I go to the door and don’t open it he will say “want out” . His Hungry sounds more like “Hung-grum” but I know what he means. Sometimes if I come into the place he is, he says “Ra-ruu out” meaning I cam out from were I was. I have another dog that actually learned some of these words(especially “Ra-Ruu”} from listening to him. And again she uses it only when I am around. She also learned Hungry but it is more like a mumble “Hungrumum” But it is interesting that she did not learn these from me but from listening to Cowboy. In all the dogs I have had, I have never had a dog like cowboy or that could do what he can do. I have come to believe that if we treat them with kindness and give them a chance to learn and expand there doginess that there is no telling what they can do.

She was trying to lick your hand right after you did the visualizing, but you weren't paying attention to that. After she actually *did* lick your hand, and you were going to reward her with a treat and a scratch -- did you? Dogs expect us to follow through. That's what builds up trust over time.

How many of you have THOUGHT about going for a walk? Or THOUGHT about giving your dog a bath or medicine? My dogs KNOW what I am thinking and feeling. Their comprehension of life is so far advanced of what we mere mortals can even imagine! Believe and trust your pet. Work to understand their knowledge. Learn from them!

For others interested in animal communicators, look up Anna Breytenbach, a south African resident who travels all around the world (to rescues and shelters) for wildlife having a hard time w/being resistent to captivity for survival reasons.

I grew up living among animals, like everyday, all the time. I've known several "animal communicators" and they AREN'T!! These people have scammed several of my friends who animals were lost and the communicators told them the animals had died. They HAD NOT died. Time was lost by not continuing to search for their pets. To know and understand animals I think we have to live WITH them, and truly seek to feel their emotions. Anyone who says animals don't have emotions are lost souls.

Ove had dogs that understood me...even when I gav her directions. Once I was stuck at a gate in our yard. And I told her to go around the house...and get me something ..I forget. Less than 5 minutes, she had run around out other gate. Got what I needed and helped me with the gate. There were other times but it would be a book. I had a dog who was bilingual because my neighbors spoke Spanish and their little boy loved her. So she would visit them. Sometimes she forgot English. Ha ha..But she would come up to me and look. I knew what she wanted. And my cats : talk" to me..and they teach ME. But also my outside wildlife that visit talk to me. Each bird has a distinctive call, but they make a different one when they want my attention. Even peek in my windows. They absolutely talk to us and listen to us. However...I've never been able to even teach a dog to Sit, Stay...they knew what I was saying, but I played by their rules. Hee hee

A few years ago I heard someone say that when a pet owner thinks they form pictures in their mind and a dog or cat can pick up on these images. It’s like what Dr Jones was doing with Tula. It’s very interesting.

Know many friends suffering about when they put their pet down. Too early .. Too late... I always wondered how will I survive seeing the vet coming up my driveway to euthanize my baby. Well. Kitty and I had several conversations in my mind. In meditation. He told me on a Sunday that he needed help. Vet came on Tuesday, and seeing her car coming up my driveway was very peaceful. Tune in. Can help both of you from suffering and grief.

Dr Jones, skilled animal communicators, like Sharon Loy and Anna Breytenbach get the animals to speak to us. They will tell US what they need or desire. Anna Breytenbach has spoken to sharks and most animals in Africa. Often we miss cues and animals can explain what hurts and where and much more. It is more than one way communication. Your tips are good. I want them to talk to me so I can hear it. I hear it happens via Meditation techniques.

You had me until the third eye part but I do fully believe in communication with animals. If someone looked in on my conversations with my dogs, chickens and ducks they would probably think I lost my mind 🤣. I just adore all my feathered and furry kids. My German Shepherd mix will verbally complain, not bark but actually make verbal noises at me when I get home from being out on errands. He's definitely complaining and telling me I was gone too long 🤣. He doesn't do this to my husband or son. He wags his tail and is happy when they come home but they don't gey scolded like I do. Yes, animals definitely have emotions 👍 and communicate with us ❤

Had to giggle re: being 'put off by the ref to third eye' = the pineal gland (behind/under the brain) has a lot of micro- crystals that make it act like a radio receiver, enhancing thoughts sent/rec'd by [ahh, duh] the brain. C'mon have a little fun learning about our marvelous brains and less new agey ?deterred. Namaste'
