The car wasn't running at that time, just like no one is running the car in the clip after that. They just had the engine noise from the upcoming clip overlaid. Not intuitive editing. These guys know more about engines than video editing. ;-)

Oh... was expecting it or make more. I make the same HP in my turbo Z haha Same exhaust too. Would love to see how I stack against that thing on the strip and on a track. Would be a fun match up of Nissans.

How much all up would it be to do a full T51R single turbo conversion from a twin setup?

I will correct you a little there it is a viscous coupling yes you can disable it however it causes damage to the centre diff everytime you do it. yes they are designed to slip but not one plate doing 180 kph while the other is stationary.

Dream GTR. Every thing about it but the wheel colour. Even that looks decent though.

Exhaust is a 4 inch HKS Titanium with a HKS Titanium Rear Race muffler.

If it's possible, could you tell me in which tracks do you run because I want to know how big the turbo lag is when you take a severe chicane and your rpm drops down to 3500 rpm ? Does it feel really bad or is this lag really just a thing of on tenth of a second? Thanks in advance.

On a track you'd be running as close as possible to the peak power and torque at all times. That power peak is pretty poor for any serious racing. Ideally you will want that 600Hp right across the rev range. That peak would suggest that it is a pretty average motor with lots of expensive shiny parts on it, being pushed by a big turbo to its limits.

Absolutely stunning. Purple 33 GTR on big GT-Cs with a loud-ass exhaust that spit flames is more or less my idea of heaven. Wonder how much a kidney fetches on the black market. After all, i don't NEED two of them...

The front drive shafts have to be removed to make the GT-R rwd never heard that before i always heard GT-Rs came with transfer cases meaning they can easily switch from awd to rwd at the flip of a switch

my r33 gtr dislikes the AWD dyno,,, it likes to jump off of it around 7000 RPM,,, not too sure if there is an alignment problem or what... so I also have to pop out the front drive shaft and dyno RWD. ...nice ride PROBLN !.

Very nice car with plenty of power. My favorite, though, is the R32 GT-R. Everybody here seems to argue this car is a GTS and not a GT-R and vice versa. Anyone can buy body panels, bumpers, badges, etc., to make a GT-S to "LOOK" like a GT-R. And, a RB26 "COULD'VE" been swapped in there as well. If this "IS" a true GT-R, then a lot of people must not know that the 4WD could be disabled. But is there any benefit to dyno a GT-R with just the rear wheels and not all 4? Anyway. Unless anyone here knows, or seen, the car in the video "PERSONALLY," probably shouldn't strongly state which model it is and/or not. It could be either.

What an awesome honda s2000.

That's weird, because I've got an R33 GT-R V-spec, and you can disable the front wheels simply by pulling a fuse out - ATTESA ET-S means that it will only drive the rear wheels unless it detects that you are losing traction. THEN it enables the front, but it's a fully electric system, so a single fuse removed (And then a switch wired up to the system) means that you can enable and disable it easily.

The GTR is AWD, it runs A 6 speed Holinger box. I removed the front drive shaft for this dyno event as the dyno was RWD only. It will be raced in AWD.

I love it's quick response! No waiting much for power! And it's not a GT-R is it? A GT-R is AWD so I'm guessing this is the GT-T?

Keviin, the SPL is obviously a huge turbo. It is laggy but I don't drop below 4000rpm in a corner. It doesn't take too long to get onto boost and I rev it out to 9000 rpm.

They look a bit to rounded at the back to keep that original look. I think they realized this since the 34 boxed up and looked the best of the lot. I mean its not a bad car. I would own a 33 if i couldn't get a 32 or 34. But i would never if i had a choice between them.

VR4OZ The 34 was in my eyes and a lot of others the perfect Skyline. Not to mention the 26DET version aka GTR... Dreams are free.

To all those that are confused,....If you switch off / on the ignition on a R33 Gtr whilst its still moving, it will switch off the 4wd and abs UNTIL you come to a stand still, then it re-engages....That how I do it on mine.

Connor Rensimer​....Thanks Bro. The irony, Start pushing over 600 ponies and you'd expect to be at the top of the food chain but then ya start meeting people with 800+ all of a sudden! We're lucky here (UK)..Loads of R32's!

the GT-R is both RWD and AWD. RWD can be 'activated' manually, or it's RWD by default and the front wheels get power when the rear wheels start to lose traction.

Yes this was IWIN. It killed a couple of plugs so it was miss firing badly above 6000rpm. New plugs are on order from the US and it will make huge power again. It will be used as a race car but unfortunately race cars do have problems.
