I mean their skin is very sensitive, they were just born and your hand is nearly 90-95 degrees... it probably would startle them or make them think a predator is nearby since it's not a stationary heat source and it's MOVING. Getting your scent in there is all anyone should be doing to new hatchlings, not touching them and causing undue stress... at least wait for them to adapt to their surroundings and your presence/scent.

My leopard gecko is Strong and takes chunks out of me I have scars from him he latches on and shakes his head to rip my skin, but it doesn’t happen often only like once or twice a year. All my friends geckos don’t hurt when they bite, and everyone is like Leopard geckoes don’t break your skin and then I showed them my scars

Tiny dragons. I hatched a few oopsie eggs a few years back and one of them screamed at me for 3 days. The other 2 chilled much faster, one didn't ever scream, she was just like "s'up, human."

It must be hard to not only be that nervous and defensive, but to put your heart and soul into a terrifyingly vicious defensive display in retaliation only to be laughed at

"They lose it at an age of 2-4 months" I have a male that's 2 years old and still squeaks at me sometimes. He's a big man baby tbh (Also it's not a respiratory problem, he usually squeaks when I try to pick him up, not just out of nowhere)

Various Lizards my female makes like a grunting sound that is kind of high pitched but not too high pitched, but it is very rare that I hear her grunt

I have a kid leopard gecko and he has a skull home he has worms and there and you know but he doesn't eat his worms can you tell why he isn't eating his worms

Reminds me of one of the abandoned kittens I hand raised as a teen. Tiny little fluff ball had her first hiss when my mom set her hand down next to her and startled her. IT WAS SUPER CUTE!

That's right. I make them angry because i try to touch em. But this is not a harassment for them. They have to learn that the Hand isn't something evil.

This is the chaotic anger I would have loved to have as a child. To dare bite the fingers of a titan.

Baby leopard geckos screaming at anything and everything is so damn adorable... I've see other videos where people actually pester and almost torment the geckos to get them to scream. Thank you for providing this entertainment while not stressing the animals. Actually a little sad none of my leos ever scream at me. They just look at me with disapproval. 😂

I would never stress this sweethearts just for entertainment. This vid is a collection of multiple videos I've filmed while feeding or caring the baby's. And you're right, they scream at everything which is bigger than a finger 😂 That's normal that the adult leopard geckos won't scream at you. Some makes grunting noises when they're uncomfortable.

2 inch gecko deflates: "That'll teach 'em."

I've had quite a few geckos over the years, and I never knew they screamed as hatchlings. They're scared of everything, poor things, still very cute!

I got a leopard gecko three days ago, and it is already perfectly fine with chilling in my hand. It shows no aggression at all. Hopefully these babies get nicer!! Edit: This is a baby leopard gecko. They like... Cricket bois. They love the cricket bois. Tasty cricket bois.

Mine is over two years old now and he will only eat meal worms and the ocassional wax worm. He does not like crickets that much.

@@cb7873 My older daughter’s leopard gecko is the complete opposite! He’ll eat mealworms okay, but only if you feed them to him. And if Orion sees the cricket bag/box in the immediate vicinity, forget it-he wants his crickets, and he wants them NOW!

Leopard geckos out here sounding like deranged pokemon

My hatchling leopard gecko was in my hand, when he almost fell and i quickly grabbed him and he screetched at me. I thought it was so cute and funny, Like "Little dude, I was trying to save your life, no need to screech at me." XD

Uh, which morph? As I sayd, they loose the squeeking at 4 Months or so. But some never. Some do a grunting sound. Your Cat was fierced for sure xD
