I am 69 years old, and I clean out my garage every 7 weeks. I take everything out and wash my epoxy floor. I even clean the work bench inside and out. Everything gets wiped down. I love a well-organized and clean home. You are doing great. I agree with you in regard to watching KZread videos and buy way too much. I have decluttered my home and I don't want or need a lot of holiday decorations.

I have been decluttering since February 2021. My biggest categories are my clothes, home decor, and books. And those categories are a lot less now. My goal is not to be a minimalist... just to be able to manage what I have. And it is much more manageable now.

You have made such a difference in your home these last few months. It is obvious even when your house is "lived in" that you have reduced the clutter You are very motivating. You are so right about KZread. Between the hauls, holiday decor, and crafts, I ended up with stuff I didn't need, had no room for etc. I have been much more selective on whom I watch so I am not tempted to spend money on items I don't need. I just can't decorate every room for every season. I don't have room to store the stuff, nor is it necessary. Great job Madison.

You are quite welcome. For all the viewers that make rude comments about your family have either have very low self esteem or a big ego. Don’t even pay attention to them. You are the bigger person. They think that you will stoop to their level and play into all their mind games. I love seeing all the vlogs you make anything you post from your channel. There is nothing better than a good rage clean every now and then! When my house shoes come on and a trash bag is out, honestly nothing is safe from being thrown away! That’s about the only time I can easily make decisions on what I’m keeping or getting rid of 😂

Madison, I've not watched your channel in months. I'm sorry people are so critical of you. It's not just on social media it can be people in your own family or those you thought were your friends they can be just as mean. I'm so glad that you have gotten so much cleaned and trash out to the curb. I've been decluttering for months and being a full-time caregiver. Now my husband has passed. I've come to a standstill with decluttering. I'm just trying to process being alone. I to once home schooled. This was great motivation! The only thing I handle differently is the brush or limbs in my yard...I put them in a very compact pile in the corner of my yard so small critters/birds can have shelter from hawks, etc. And then, as the twigs and things decompose, I get some amazing rich soil - for free!

Yup, anger as motivation, I'm in for the rage cleaning! Absolutly get into that mood and I get so much done and feel therapeutic at the end of one of those days! Had one of those day yesterday and it's almost 9 am and I am preparing to complete the tasks I started yesterday.

I don't understand how people can say mean things about a dog. I think she's beautiful

I specifically avoid haul, shop with me, or must buy from Amazon/Temu/Costco etc. type videos. When I watch them, I inevitably feel like I NEED at least something from the video. I certainly am not one that needs any help spending money. So, I avoid them knowing that if I really do need something, I'll probably realize it without any of these videos. Great job cleaning! It was very motivating.

Hey Madison…sometimes angry with clutter is a good motivator! I don’t have a lot of clutter and it makes my life so much more peaceful so way to go! Does your city, town, village have brush pick up throughout the year? That would help. We have it in the spring and fall and if you have brush in between, they will park a truck in your driveway for the weekend to fill and then come on Monday am and pick it up!

Tools! Boy do we ever have them lol. If you want some input, what worked for us is that I, the organized one, stored items and created a locator list so that my husband could locate ANYTHING. It takes a little time to make the list, but saves so so so much time in the future. I've got the current list on a clipboard, and I am working on a digital version.

I have a fire pit that I use just for that reason. My old trees shed, and it's so easy to just throw limbs in there and burn as needed. Use the cover screen for safety.

We have a very large recycling bin that we put out every week when recycling comes. As well as put boxes & plastic items on the curb for recycling to take.

My guess would be that he works full time and she probably makes these videos at that time so when he’s home and they are together they spend time together. I guarantee she doesn’t film 24/7 and this is only a small portion of their life. Plus there’s tons of videos that he’s in doing stuff. This comment comes off so rude to me.
