ANGRY browns and miles of uncrowded water! I dig Wyoming. p2

In Part 2 of the 9-week road trip, the day starts slow, so I relocate to this amazing spot. The first fish I catch is a small brown and out of nowhere a bigger brown tries to make a meal out of it! This is part 2 of the 9 week road trip...see the playlist below to catch up.

    Nice work brother, I'm so happy to have come across you last year. For years, people (friends, family, etc.) thought I was being anti-social or just plain weird because I absolutely love going solo (or with my ole pooch) on these types of adventures. Sure, there is additional planning etc. to be prepared for the contingencies of being solo (especially in Alaska where the majority of my 'missions' took place) but I feel you can really engage with life on another plane when not distracted by the wants and needs of another human... however good-hearted and virtuous those wants/needs be. Keep on keeping on Drew, you've earned it from what I can gather. -T

  • @LooknFishy

    @LooknFishy

    Really appreciate the kind words! I can't make myself wait for others...solo isn't always the easiest but I'm not sitting at home waiting! Plus, you nailed it...totally different experience and connection when all you have are your own thoughts!

    Colorado's got some great trout streams, but any river of any size tends to be very crowded, by comparison to Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. There's a whole different etiquette in those other states. If you see somebody's somewhere, you go somewhere else. In Colorado, they see you fishing and they'll come right up asking you what you're using and start fishing 20 feet away from you, like it's OK.
